Buzzard’s Nest is a brand new timber cabin in the heart of the country on a working dairy farm .The cabin is set back into private woodland area and it gets its name from a nest that can be seen in one of the trees there. Being set up high on Rosewall Hill in an area of outstanding beauty, ‘Buzzard’s Nest’ has some of the most breath taking views out over the country and the sea which can be enjoyed whilst relaxing on the large decking area provided. Whilst being in an idyllic country setting, ‘Buzzard’s Nest’ is a mere 2 minute drive from the lively old fishing port of St Ives.St Ives caters for all your needs, from pubs and clubs to beaches and art galleries, to name a few. We are also at the start of the stunning coastal drive which stretches all the way to Lands End. We are set in spectacular countryside yet are only a 2 minute drive into the famous town of St Ives. We are also situated at the start of the stunning coastal drive from St Ives to Land's End. With a huge amount of beaches to choose from you will be spoilt for choice on where to go. Walking is extremely popular in our areas and again you will be spoilt for choice over the miles of countryside and moors. Buzzard's Nest itself is set high up on Rosewall Hill therefore the views are breath taking and can be enjoyed from your private decking area. St Ives and its surrounding areas has something for everyone - you wont be disappointed!

  • Lettings are for a maximum of four weeks and commence from 1500 hours on the Friday and end at 1000 hours on the Friday at the end of the tenancy.
  • The tenancy is created within the meaning of section 9 of the rent act 1977.
    The tenant agrees:
    a. To keep and leave the accommodation in a tidy state.
    b. To pay for any breakages and damage.
    c. To allow the owner reasonable access.
  • We only accept bookings in advance. Your provisional booking can be made in the following ways:

    These will be held for 7 days. If we have not received the deposit within this time the booking will be canceled.
    Bookings will only be confirmed upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total holiday cost and completed Booking Form.
    The balance is payable in full 4 weeks before the start of your holiday, failure to do so will result in the cancellation of your booking.
    Any bookings made less than 4 weeks ahead must be paid for in full at the time of booking. Deposits are non-refundable. Payment can be made by cash or cheque only. Sorry we can not accept credit/debit cards at this time.

A great spot for Southwest Cornwall & St. Ives

Great location for viewing South West Cornwall & St Ives.
A very warm and friendly welcome from the owners who were always on hand for help and advice. Gave a great tour of the farm too. The cabin itself was well equipped and newly appointed.
An ideal location for either quiet relaxation or using as a base to get aquainted with the region and only minutes from St Ives.
We'll be back!

We were the very first guests to stay at Buzzards Nest. The log cabin was beautiful and the views and setting simply stunning.
Location was great especially for St Ives.
There were unfortunately a few 'teething' problems when we stayed, but the owners rectified them quickly.
All in all we had a lovely holiday in a lovely property.

Fantastic location for exploring west Cornwall. Cosy cabin nestled into the woody hillside with amazing views from the deck which is perfect for morning coffee and a beer at sundown! Cabin is very well equipped, new, modern and clean. The welcome from Marina and Simon could not have been more friendly or helpful...genuine, lovely hosts who we never saw unless we needed something! The odd farm vehicle passes outside and the cockerel crows just 4times every morning but otherwise peace and tranqulity reign. St Ives however is a 10minute drive and the best beaches in the country (my opinion) are all within striking distance by car. For beach lovers with a desire to choose when they want to enter the 'tourist zones' the cabin is perfect! The farm setting also thrilled our 5yr old and me if I'm honest! We will definitely return.
