Huge interior, entirely renovated with 6 bedrooms (including two ensuite bathrooms and three further bathrooms). A superb example of a large Languedoc village house, the property features the beautiful, original colorful floor tiles throughout which are synonymous with this part of the south of France. The property features a beautiful 450m² Mediterranean garden with swimming pool, palm trees, mature plants and a beautiful shaded terrace. Just steps from the hidden garden up the main road into the centre of Magalas with two cafés, three restaurants, two bakeries, post office, pharmacy, newsagent, bank and grocery store. Weekly market. On the outskirts of the village are a large supermarket, pizzeria and superb local wine outlet. Mediterranean beaches are only 30 minutes away, or there is wonderful lake and river swimming and all water sports at Lac du Salagou.

Located in the heart of the busy, medieval, hilltop village of Magalas which lies 10 mins north of Béziers; 30 mins from the Mediterranean coast and surrounded by beautiful vineyards as far as the eye can see. The village (less than 1 min walk) has two café bars, three restaurants, post office, two bakeries, pharmacy, newsagent, bank with UK cash dispenser, newsagent, grocery store. The famous Château de Grézan (owned by the famous Lanson family from Champagne) is nearby. There are vineyards surrounding all the small villages in the area, making quite an amazing spectacle. Large amusement and water parks for the children at Vias and Cap d'Agd. Golf courses at Lamalou and Béziers, both only 20 minutes away. Water sports and freshwater swimming at Lake Salagou (40 mins). Spanish border only a 90 minute drive away. Medieval city of Carcasonne about 60. Fly into Beziers, Carcassone, Montpellier (also Nime and Perpignan).
