Rose Cottage is an old stone cottage lying amid farmland 400 feet above sea level, with superb views over the Glendale Valley. It is situated in the tiny hamlet of High Humbleton, right on the edge of the National Park, with the Cheviot Hills rising behind. The small country town of Wooler is one mile away with excellent food and craft shops, restaurants and cafes. There is a large safe garden with off road parking. An open fire and good heating makes the cottage an ideal break in autumn or spring. It is 12 miles from the beautiful Northumberland coast line, with Holy Island and Bamburgh castles. golf, bird watching, fishing, horse riding close by. The Scottish Border is just 11 miles away with the spectacular Tweed Valley beyond. Edinburgh, Newcastle and the Roman Wall are just a day trip away. The cottage is available between April1st and October 31st and sleeps 4 with extra beds and a cot.
