This spacious 3 bedroom penthouse apartment is situated on a secure gated luxury resort with beautifully landscaped gardens. Along with each bedroom having a balcony there is a terrace leading off the kitchen and lounge and a large roof terrace with views of the pool, gardens and the Monchique mountains. The roof terrace has a jacuzzi, sun loungers, table and chairs and BBQ. The kitchen is fully equipped. Master bedroom has an ensuite and the 2 twin rooms share a full bathroom. Along with the large heated pool there is a small children's pool, shaded playground and tennis court. There is an excellent restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Surrounding the pool are plenty of loungers and umbrellas and a snack bar. The reception has plenty of information on local activities etc. The location is ideal for exploring the Western Algarve with its fantastic beaches and historic towns. It is close to the marina and old town of Lagos with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars.

Meia Praia is the nearest beach and is one of the largest in the Algarve. It has a very good selection of bars and restaurants and fun rides. The ancient city of Lagos offers excellent choices of shops and restaurants and has a beautiful smaller beach found near the fort. The area has plenty of supermarkets to choose from. Activities like dolphin watching can be booked from the marina. Water parks such as Slide and Splash (Lagoa), and Aqualand (Guia) are approx 20 to 30 minutes drive. Guia also has a fantastic Zoomarine and a large shopping mall. Around 40 minutes drive is the untouched national park coastal area on the west coast were you can have surf lessons and hire all the equipment. A twenty minute drive takes you into the heart of the Monchique mountain range with stunning views.

Golf: The area is known to have the best golf courses in the world. Palmares is the closest at a 5 minute drive away. Others include Boa Vista, Penina, Alamos and Morgado. A new course in Espiche is due to open late 2009.

Cleaning: There is a mid week towel change for one week stays. A towel and linen change at the end of the first week of a 2 week stay inc a mid week towel change.
