Alhaurin el Grande holiday house

We have just spent 2 weeks at this property and enjoyed every minute. The owners have gone out of there way to make your stay as pleasurable as possible with eveything your need to enjoy the 'high life' sitting up in the campo mountains with a view overlooking the local village.
The Villa itself is extremely well appointed with both indoor and outdoor kitchens. The BBQ deserves special note as it is probably the best I have ever used and we used it everyday either for breakfast lunch or dinner.
The pool is a delight and our children spent most of the day in it with the odd breather during the hottest part of the day.
The decking area is a great place to watch the sun rise in the morning and the moon rise in the evening. A memory that will be etched in our minds for ever.
Any minor issue's we did have with the property (mainly very minor electrical problems) were sorted out quickly and to our satisfaction as the owners live near by.
You cannot fault this property for size, location (though being in he mountains may not be to everyone's liking, but then there's no passing cars, no noise apart from the odd animal and a nice breeze daily which keeps you cool) and the facilities are second to none.
We had an extremely relaxing time in our 2 weeks and would recommend visits to Ardale lakes, San Pedro beach (it wasn't crowded in August) and Mijas for a donkey ride in wonderful old style surroundings.
We have already booked for next year... It's that good.
