The apartment house was built in 2005. Each apartment has a separate entrance and offers room for 4 people. You can also rent the whole house as one for 8 people. A large sunny terrace lies at the lower apartment. The upper apartment has a spacious south balcony with view of the pool. The pool (10 x 5 m) at the landlord’s house with sunbeds, parasol's and shower, as well as the roofed over barbeque area at your disposal. Poolheathing availabla at extra cost.

The apartment is situated in a free house with two units. It is charmingly furnished and has a living room with chimney, an open and completely equipped kitchen with dinette, 2 large bedrooms with mountain view, bathroom with bath tub and a spacious terrace with seating and sunscreen.

Casa Lousil is situated in a quiet, country area at the Algarve. It is a 20 minute drive from the airport Faro to our place. You can go shopping in Moncarapacho which is 5 km away. Here you can find small shops, neat local restaurants, as well as a doctor, pharmacy and post office. The little town Estoi is worth seeing, too, and also only 5 km away. Furthermore you can drive 5 minutes to the fishing village Olhao. Here you can find 2 market halls, multiple super markets, inviting restaurants and bars.

Als langjährige Besucher der Algarve waren wir im März 2009 erstmals bei Silvia und Louis im Casa Lousil zu Gast. Wir fanden dort eine Oase der Ruhe vor. Das Appartement ist komplett ausgestattet, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und läßt keine Wünsche offen. Toller Wohnkomfort in Verbindung mit einem hohen Maß an Funktionalität gestalten den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm. Alles ist sehr sauber, gepflegt und in einem Top-Zustand. Der Pool, der in unmittelbarer Nähe der Wohnung liegt, lädt zu einem erfrischenden Bad ein. Direkt in Anbindung gibt es einen sehr schönen, überdachten Grillplatz, wo man den Tag mit Spezialitäten der Algarve ausklingen lassen kann. Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und geschmackvoll angelegt. Die notwendige Ruhe wird durch die Lage des Anwesens garantiert. Mit dem Auto, daß auf jeden Fall notwendig ist, läßt sich die Algarve von diesem Startpunkt aus wunderbar erkunden. Auch die Geschäfte für den täglichen Einkauf sind mit dem PKW gut zu erreichen. Nicht zuletzt muß die herzliche Gastfreundschaft der Vermieter (Silvia und Louis) erwähnt werden. Hilfsbereitschaft steht an erster Stelle und gute Tips bezüglich Restaurants, Sehenswürdigkeiten usw. erhält man natürliche ebenfalls. Sehr gerne werden wir unsere nächsten Aufenthalte an der Algarve im Casa Lousil verbringen.
Fazit: Absolut empfehlenswert!!!

Allerschönste Erholung

Wir waren nunmehr zum zweiten Mal in Casa Lousil - vor einem Jahr und nun wieder im August 2008. Beide Male hat es uns (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder) sehr gut gefallen: die Vermieter sind sehr nett, hilfreich und gastfreundlich, beide Wohnungen sind geschmackvoll und für alle Bedürfnisse eingerichtet (wobei wir die Ferien jeweils im unteren Appartment verbracht haben), die gesamte Anlage ist sehr gepflegt - insbesondere der schöne Pool ist zu nennen. Casa Lousil liegt im Hinterland, sodass viel Ruhe garantiert ist. Zum nächsten Ort sind es wenige Kilometer zu fahren - ohne Auto ist also nichts zu machen. Das betrifft nicht nur sämtliche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants, sondern auch die nächsten Strände, unter denen es östlich von Faro allerdings eine größere Auswahl gibt. Wer diese Abgeschiedenheit in schöner, naturnaher Umgebung mag, der wird garantiert allerbeste Erholung bekommen - auch unsere Kinder würden gerne wieder ins Casa Lousil zurückkehren. Zur Abwechslung haben wir diesmal zwei längere Fahrten unternommen: nach Lissabon und Sevilla. Beide Touren haben sich gelohnt. Auf die Sonne ist an der Algarve im Sommer ohnehin Verlass, was will man also mehr...
