Apartment situated in the heart of Paris in the charming rue Poncelet where there is a famous market: fruits, flowers, vegetables and the biggest fish mongers in Paris. There are also gourmet shops for foie gras, coffee, chocolate and wine. Also in the rue Poncelet are typical cafes and restaurants. There are two small supermarkets for everyday shopping. The famous tea shop Studli serves tea and pastry as well as very good food. There is a post office close by. The Champs Elysees, the most beautiful avenue in the world, can be reached on foot. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle, talk a walk in the Parc Monceau, a few minutes away. The nearest metro station is place des Ternes or Charles de Gaulle-Etoile.For Charles de Gaulle airport you can walk to Ave Carnot and get the bus. The apartment consists of two rooms, a well equiped kitchenette, bathroom and WC. It's on the first floor in a very quiet courtyard.

We (2 adults) had a fantastic holiday at this apartment. The apartment is very conveniently located with easy access to the Metro and the airport bus. The Champs Elysee and Arc Triomphe are only a five to ten minute walk. It is located on the ground floor and back from the street. The street market is amazing with all manner of food available at the entrance to the apartment block - including fruit, vegetables, cheese, meat, several supermarkets, cafes, bakeries etc. The washing machine/dryer in the apartment was a major bonus. The owner and her daughter were very helpful. In summary a great base from which to explore Paris.
