Superb Apartment & Holiday

Just returned from a weeks stay at this apartment, and we wished that we had stayed for longer. We only booked for a week as friends were getting married out there, and we thought that a week would be ok, but we were so wrong. The apartment is absolutely beautiful, all facilities are exceptional. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything that you could imagine, all the appliances that you would have at home, there is a vast amount of crockery, glassware, cooking implements even a slow cooker and food steamer are provided. The living accommodation is exactly as the pictures, and we have never had so much storage space in the bedrooms and as many coat hangers!! There was nothing better than sitting on the balcony of an evening with a drink in hand with the peacefullness of the place, it really was so relaxing. We loved the pool and it felt like our own as hardly anyone else used it, and the provision of the sunbeds and beach towels was brilliant. The apartment block is only two storeys high with this apartment being on the first floor. There is a lift if you don't want to use the stairs. Everything stated in the description is provided but it really doesn't do justice to the accommodation.
The apartment is located in a very typically greek orientated village, with a lovely restaurant and a few tavernas and small supermarkets (known as kiosks), and only a five to ten minutes drive away are other villages that I can't really pronounce, with more tavernas and restaurants. If you want livelier places Paphos is only a 15 minutes drive away with Coral Bay the same but in the opposite direction. We didn't hire a car but I would recommend it so you can have more freedom, however, we did find a fabulous taxi man called Makis, and we have put his card in a book that is kept at the apartment. Taxi prices when we were there were 30 euros from the airport, and 15 euros to Paphos and Coral Bay. If you do hire a car there is a parking space allocated to the apartment on the ground floor of the apartment block.
The only downside is NOTHING to do with the apartment, but all the roadworks around the whole Paphos area, so be prepared for some roads to be shut.
Would we recommend it, YES, and in fact the friends that had got married came to see the apartment and they were bowled over by it. Would we go again, DEFINITELY, are we going to, YES, next year and for two weeks next time.
