Two small cottages for rental separately or together. One recently renovated, free-standing, self-catering, fully-equipped. Own terrace with outdoor furniture for al fresco meals. Double bed and possibility of matress for child (900 Euros per week). Second cottage unrenovated, but clean, charming and next to pool, self-catering, fully-equipped. Own terrace, outdoor furniture. Double bed and possibility of matress for child (700 Euros per week). Both in the grounds of a typical provencal bastide, on the outskirts of Mougins and close to Valbonne, in a very quiet and sought-after area close to Chateau Castellaras. Unrestricted access to oxygenated swimming pool, shared with owners of the bastide. Beautifully kept gardens planted with many mature fruit trees and fragrant shrubs, all native to provence, make for a very authentic experience of the area. The grounds are gated and secure. Suited to renters who want to quietly soak up the sun and smells of Provence in a truly gorgeous setting

Nearest Airport: Nice at 10 Kilometres
Nearest Train: Mouans-Sartoux at 4 Kilometres
Nearest Motorway: Junction 42 of A8 motorway at 5 Kilometres

There are a number of excellent Golf clubs in close proximity. A tennis club with hard and clay courts (5 min), Horse riding club (5 min), Skiing areas are a 2 hour drive. Mougins is the home of world famous Moulin de Mougins Restaurant. If you love Jazz, you'll enjoy summer here, when there is an abundance of it on offer in Juan les Pins. Grasse, home of famous perfume factories Galimard, Molinard and Fragonard - all open to the public. Valbonne village and Mouans-Sartoux, neighbouring villages, both have a markets 2 X week. Ferry boats go to St Marguerite & St Honorat from Cannes daily, as well as to Monte Carlo, St Tropez and Italy in the summer. There's boating and fishing at lake St Casien (15 min) or up in the mountains at the wolf conservation area called Parc Alpha (90 mins) Antibes has a sailing club and Marineland, with its dolphins, sharks and killer whales is a great day out for the whole family. The Italian food and clothing market in Ventimiglia is a 60 minute drive.

Additional information about rental rates

  • BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
    1. Once availability has been confirmed, the booking will be guaranteed upon receipt of a signed contract from you and initial deposit of 30% of the hire cost. For bookings less than 90 days before arrival date the entire hire cost is due.
    2. Payment should be made via transfer to our bank account or PayPal.
    3. The balance is due 90 days before arrival. Failure to transmit the balance by the due date gives us the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit.
    4. A security deposit of 1,000 euros to cover any damages during the stay is due on your arrival. This will be reimbursed after deduction of payment for any damages at latest 14 days after departure.
  • 5. If you cancel for any reason whatsoever and you do so more than 90 days before the rental is due to begin your initial deposit will be forfeited; between 90 and 30 days before the rental is due to begin 50% of the rental will be forfeited; otherwise 100% of the rental will be forfeited.
    6. Under no circumstances may the number of persons sleeping in the property exceed 2 adults and 2 children under the age of 18.
    7. The rental period is from Sunday to Sunday.
    Arrival time is between 10.00 o'clock and 20.00 o'clock - the exact time to be mutually agreed with us 7 days before your arrival. Any arrival after 20.00 may be arranged at a surcharge of 50 Euros.
    8. The inventory must be checked and signed on arrival and on departure and will be the document used to determine any damages or losses.
  • Apart from the refundable caution as mentioned in the Terms & Conditions (above) there are no extra charges once you start your rental.
