Los Gigantes holiday apartment: Los Gigantes

We found that this apartment is situated within easy reach of everything Los Gigantes and its surrounding area has to offer. Those that want to tour the island with a rented car will find adequate parking in the road behind the apartment, and trips by bus can be made from the main local bus stop in the road in front. A busy taxi rank is also only a couple of minutes walk away. However, we found everything we needed within a short walking distance. There is a myriad of restaurants serving a variety of different cuisines including Indian and Chinese as well as English and Spanish. Los Gigantes has its own splendid little beach but we spent more time by the private swimming pool. The apartment has a small, but adequate kitchen area for those that want to eat in, and the local supermarkets and small shops have everything, even those items familiar only to the British. We found the apartment well maintained and equipped. Satellite TV, and a small stereo system provided entertainment on those few evenings when we wanted a quiet evening in. During the day, one can lounge by the pool or even on the flat’s balcony where one can look out over the sea to the island of La Gomera, or just watch the players on the nearby tennis court. We also enjoyed exploring via the long coastal walks through Puerto de Santiago and beyond. After dark the location is pretty quiet and the comfortable master bedroom assured a good night’s sleep. A smaller twin room would provide adequate accommodation for a party of four.
