Our flat is located in a charming and quiet area: the Bois de Vincennes, a beautiful park where you can go for walks or cycle rides, is at the end of the street; the Château de Vincennes, an outstanding and wonderfully preserved medieval castle, is two minutes away. All sorts of boutiques, excellent inexpensive restaurants and a cinema are only a few meters away. Metro line 1 (15 mns direct to the center of Paris, taxis, buses are just around the corner and you can walk to the RER (fast metro line) 10 mins awaywhich will take you to the center of Paris in about 10 mins, or to Disneyland-Paris, Versailles etc There is a lift in the building and the flat (53m²) is very tastefully decorated : it has a bedroom with a queen-size bed ( 160/200cm), a large living-room with a convertible sofabed that sleeps 2, a shower and separate toilets, a fully equipped kitchen (washing-machine). Sheets, towels, washing-powder are included, and you will find basic items such as tea, coffee, pasta.

Nice and authentic flat for a journey to Paris

We (family with 1 child) recently stayed for a week (Oktober 2009) and found the accommodation very comfortable and well maintained. It’s a cosy flat, elegantly furnished and with stuccoed ceilings. The house is well situated in the nice ambiance of Vincennes. We felt good from the moment of our arrival and the greeting by the friendly owners. They gave us helpful advices for shopping, dining and so on. The next metro-station is in few 100 meters, so that we had a perfect base to discover Paris and enjoyed a lovely week. We fully recommend staying here and would like to return when visiting Paris next time.

Nice owners, god flat in perfect location

Hello

We are a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children age 12 and 17.
After a nice welcome we had a perfect stay, where we explored Paris and Vincennes.

The flat is nice, with all small details in place. We never missed anything. Shops and market is just around the corner, and Metro is less than 100 steps away.

On the one hand the area of Vincennes is quiet, but on the other hand is has everything. The women in our family enjoyed shopping in Vincennes.

And even if it’s a nice and quiet area, there is only a short Metro ride to Paris Centre. From leaving the Flat to Chans Elyse is only 15 - 20 minutes with the metro.

We have decided to rent this flat the next time we go to Paris.

As a person not so used to the traffic in Paris I enjoyed that the flat is easy to find, and there is lot of parking in the area.

The best holiday!

We stayed at this lovely appartment in Vincennes and had a truly wonderful holiday. We split our time between sight-seeing in Vincennes and in Paris too.

The appartment is perfectly located, just a very short walk to the Metro which quickly takes you into Paris. There are a number of parks very close by too, with little play areas for children; we found this really great for our family.

The owner is extremely friendly and helpful and provided us with lots of helpful information and maps; and provided us with plenty of essentials in the kitchen; we could have wished for nothing more! She speaks perfect English too.

Everything was clean, well maintained, comfy and very homely; it made a really pleasant change from staying in a hotel and it was nice to be able to self-cater and spend some quiet and relaxing family time together.

We will definitely return and would be very happy to recommend this to our friends and family.
