About 40Km up in the mountains from Hua Hin is a vineyard where you can sample the local wine 'Monsoon Valley'. The Sala visitor centre offers great views of the vineyard surrounded by the mountains. Hua Hin has no shortage of markets, probably the most popular and touristy is the night market in the centre of town which opens up about 6pm until late. The vendors are selling clothes, arts and crafts plus food. There are many great restaurants to choose from which are offering great fresh fish, mostly the food is cooked outside so great entertainment as welll. Chat Chai day market just down the road from the night market sells fruit and vegetables, fish and meat all at local prices. The largest market of all is at Pae Mai next to the driving range, it is very popular with the locals and most things can be bought here from fresh produce to clothes and household items.
