Gstadt holiday apartment

The apartment we had was very spacious, modern and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was very well equipped. The house was always clean and well presented, with a garden to sit in or a shaded patio to shelter from the sun. Our view accross the lake was lovely and the balcony equipped with chairs and table so that we could enjoy our meals looking over the lake and mountains. The family Heistracher that own the house were friendly and welcoming and spoke enough English to answer any questions. We made the booking via e-mail and telephone, and no payment was required until we arrived. For those who enjoy quiet holidays this destination is highly recommended. The whole village was clean and tidy with flowers everywhere. The lake is great for swimming and boating and there are boat trips to the two islands on a regular basis. Bicycles are available to hire, there is a good bus service to other villages and there is a good train service from nearby Prien. Nightlife consists of relaxing over a meal and a few beers in the restaurants looking over the lake! All in all a relaxing holiday.
