Wauer guest house was awarded 4 stars by the German Tourist Board. This family-run bed and breakfast lies at the edge of the Saxon-Bohemian ‘Switzerland’ national park in the quiet district of Krumhermsdorf , yet it’s only a hour away by motorbike from the Euro speedway at Lausitz. There are lots of different places to visit, like Königstein fortress, while the Bastei area with its varied mountains and deep valleys is a walker’s paradise. It’s easy to get to the state capital of Dresden, or the porcelain factories at Meissen, and the cathedral by train (S-Bahn) from Bad Schandau. We always provide a full breakfast in our guest house. Leisure activities in the house include about 80 m2 area with tennis courts and other sports facilities. We have 6 double beds but can accommodate up to 15 people overnight. Sauna with diving platform, barbecue, two recreational rooms and cooking facilities are provided.

Our guest house lies at the edge of the ‘Saxon Switzerland’ national park in the quiet district of Neustadt-Krumhermsdorf. Bus and train connections in the area. This mountain world with its sandstone rocks is a walker’s paradise. As a family business we take pride in offering individual care to our guests. We were awarded 4 stars in 2006. Rooms can be combined, which makes them user-friendly for holiday makers seeking an apartment. There are two cooking facilities & two recreational rooms. 6 double beds, 12 beds are available. Extra sleeping possibilities are available, as are sauna, fitness room, garages on payment of a fee, car parking for cars and motorcycles are available at no extra cost to guests. There is also parking for a bus or coach on payment of a fee. Single night accommodation is available with a supplementary charge per person. The biker’s rendezvous is between Sachsenring and the Lausitzring Speedway. The border crossing to the Czech Republic is 5 km away at Sebnitz.

  • Our prices: Overnight with breakfast per person €19, without breakfast €15. Overnight in double room, 1 person with breakfast, 24 Euro, without breakfast 19 Euro. Children between 4 & 10 years old, 13 Euro per night, 11 Euro without breakfast. Additional bed, with breakfast, 12 Euro. Pets are allowed, in their own basket, 5.00 Euro. Dogs on their own blanket, 6 per day. Use of the sauna in the house, 6.00 Euro for two hours. There is a plunge available: the cost of the sports room, with table tennis and other games is 8 Euro per day (until 10 pm). Use of the garage for a car or bicycles costs 4 Euro per day. There is a charge of 5 Euro per day for the baby bed and rubbish removal.
  • Guests are responsible for the cleaning of the house and for damage to the contents and furniture: damage will be charged for at replacement cost price. There is no insurance against accident or theft inside or outside the house. There is a charge of 25.00 Euro for cleaning, if necessary. Smoking is not allowed in the living and bedrooms.

Liebe Familie Wauer, Herzlichen Dank für die kurzfristige Zusage bzgl. der wundervollen Unterkunft. Diese 5 Tage waren für uns sehr interessant und erholsam. Ihre Pension liegt' mittendrin', um all die imposanten Sehenswürdigkeiten genießen zu können. Wir werden Sie auf alle Fälle sehr gern weiterempfehlen.
