Pilot's Rest sits on a short row of cottages directly overlooking Brixham outer harbour and the fishing port. The position gives visitors an excellent viewpoint to watch the commercial and pleasure craft come and go - a real boat lovers paradise! The cottage is also ideally located for the centre of Brixham, as the inner harbour is less than 100 metres away, where you will find a wide variety of restaurants, shops, pubs and the local attractions. In the other direction, enjoy a waterfront walk along to the Battery gardens, a scenic viewpoint with far-reaching views.

Brixham: It is a quaint fishing town and with its cafés, bars, shops and restaurants, including the fish restaurants serving the daily local catches, it’s no wonder this is a favourite destination for people of all ages. While fishing is Brixham’s main industry, it is also reinventing itself as an upmarket tourist resort, with quality food shops such as the Brixham Deli, cafés such as Number 11, and bars such as the Yard Arms. The focal point of the harbour gives the town a continental feel, especially in the summer, when you can sit outside and enjoy fish which has been caught that very morning. In September South Devon hosts a walking festival with a wide varietyof activities taking place.
