The apartment is situated on the first floor of the upper house, directly at a mountainside and has a quiet, admirable view. All rooms have windows, including kitchen and bathroom! Very beautiful hiking trails start at the house, e.g. the famous “Carl-Hirnbein-Weg”. The hiking and cross-country paradise Knottenried is procurable in approx. 10 minutes. Idyllic lakes for bathing, e.g. the “Niedersonthofener See” and “Kleine Alpsee bei Immenstadt” about 15 minutes away and invite to a recreating bath. The “Große Alpsee bei Immenstadt” offers practically all water sports. Places of excursions are Kempten, Oberstdorf, Oberstaufen, Füssen with the famous royal palaces, the Bodersee, Austria and Switzerland. Because of the proximity to the Alps everything from a promenade up to a mountain hike is possible! Indoor swimming pool, sauna and fitness center can be used arbitrarily during the opening times without paying an extra fee, it is included in the lease price.

Notes to the rental rates

• The prices include all additional costs. Furthermore the indoor swimming-pool and sauna can be used arbitrarily often during the opening times – considering the prices of public swimming-pools with 4 people you can see how much money you can save here. The opening times of the indoor swimming pool are daily from 9.00 to 22.00, the sauna is open from 16.00 to 22.00.
  
• You can bring bedclothes and towels yourself or lease them for 6,00 € per week and person. If you do the latter and say so in advance, the beds will be made by the time of your arrival.

Shopping and taverns

The parc has a small kiosk for the most necessary. Everything for your daily need can be purchased in Missen. Larger shops of every kind are situated in Immenstadt where there are very good shopping facilities. In Missen there are also nice taverns, especially the “Brauerei-Gasthof” that has an entry in the Guinessbook of records for its portable brewery machines. Here you can enjoy Bavarian cooking and a nice beer. Once in a while there are funny “Sud-Abende”. More restaurants of all price classes can be found in Immenstadt

Arrival

By car: From Ulm on the expressway A 7 in direction Kempten, continuing in direction Füssen/Oberstdorf/lLindau. At the interchange Allgäu in direction Oberstdorf/Lindau on to the expressway A 980 (is called B12 later) up to the exit Oberstaufen/Weitnau/Missen. In Seltmanns and Siberatshofen take a left in direction Missen. Approx. 1 kilometer after “Unterwilhams” there is a sign “Wilhams”. Take a left here and go up the hill to the “Ferienwohnpark Oberallgäu”. At the reception you will get the keys and can drive up to the apartment. Afterwards you bring your car to the parking area. By train: Get out at the railwaystation Immenstadt, continue by taxi to the Holiday Park, and let the driver wait while getting the key at the reception, then continue with the taxi to the apartment.

Skiing Information:

In winter the overgrown mountain side next to the house changes into a skiing side with a ski-lift. You can start skiing right next to the apartment and watch other people skiing from your window. Close-by there are two more lifts for children and beginners. A well sorted sports shop lends all sporting equipment at low cost and runs a ski school. An idyllic cross country skiing trail partly that proceeds next to a creek starts directly at the parc. The “Langlauf-Paradies Knottenried” is available in about 10 minutes. It takes about 40 minutes to get to the famous ski-regions Balderschwang, Oberstdorf and Kleinwalsertal where you can be sure of snow.
