Photos and Description of this Algarrobo holiday villa Villa with optional apartment sleeping 10 or more. In a private location.

Located on a hillside on the edge of a small village and only 1 kilometer from the sea, this villa is ideally located in a private area but close to all amenities. The living accommodation is all on one level with the pool directly outside on a large terrace making it both comfortable and practical for you to relax and enjoy your holiday. The five bedrooms, 3 double and 2 twin, all have en suite shower rooms and there is a study with two computers and broadband internet. The large, airy lounge has fabulous sea views and is a great place to relax. There is a TV with satellite channels, CD & DVD player. We provide a good selection of DVDs, books,games and a Wii for your enjoyment. The breakfast kitchen is well equipped and includes a dishwasher and induction hob, two fridges and freezers. Outside there are two BBQs, sink, preparation area and fridge. We provide many extras including table tennis and a basketball net as well as a couple of kayaks and golf clubs.

Mezquitilla is situated on the eastern Costa Del Sol, midway between Torrox and Torre del Mar and only 13 klm from the popular tourist resort of Nerja. There are many lovely beaches nearby and also shops and excellent restaurants. Being near to the motorway and the N340 Coast Rd, it is ideal for anyone wishing to explore Andalucia. There are many places of interest both nearby for quick trips and further afield for days out. Places of interest nearby include Frigiliana, one of the Costa del Sol's prettiest white villages, the popular tourist resort of Nerja and the spectacular caves at Maro. Further afield there is Granada and the Alhambra palace, Cordoba, Ronda, Gibraltar and it is even possible to visit Morrocco although we would really advise an overnight stay for this. We provide maps and guide books to help you to choose where to go.

Notes: During winter season we can offer short breaks, either midweek or at weekends. Please contact us for further details. For anyone travelling with hand luggage only for a short break, we are happy to supply a range of quality toiletries, dental care and shaving packs as well as robes and slippers. A starter food pack is also provided. During summer the apartment which can sleep up to four is available as an option for guests booking the villa and requirind extra space. It is not rented out separately at this time. If not required it will be left unoccupied. During winter the apartment is available for stand alone rentals. Please contact us for details. There is parking on the drive, which is accessed by electronic gates, for 4 or more cars. The villa also has a safe and security alarm. A pool alarm can also be supplied for non swimmers.

November to May is ideal for walking and we provide guides and suggestions for walks at different levels of difficulty. The winter is also the ideal time for sight seeing as it is not too hot and there are fewer tourists around! During winter it is possible to take a trip to the ski slopes at Sierra Nevada only 2 hours away.

Thank you Richard & Marina, we had such a lovely time staying in the villa and apartment. 14 of us came away to celebrate my Mum & Dad's 50th Wedding Anniversary and I don't think we could have stayed in a better place. The Facilites there are fantastic and I would defiantly recommend this to anyone

Our best holiday so far

If you would like to receive more than what you have paid for, then this is your place. We were a group of ten people, ten different characters, and we all have reached the conclusion that this has been our best holiday so far. The house is clean, tidy and provides everything you need to feel yourself comfortable. The courtyard and swimming pool are big enough and great additions to this unbelievable property. Sitting on the terrace and watching the sunset is gorgeous. There are not many views in the world which can be compared to this one. The area of Costa del Sol itself is simply magnificent. Next time we will definitely stay a little bit longer. Thank you Marina and Richard for making this dream holiday happen!

We would like to thank Richard and Marina for a wonderful holiday,we were not disappointed when we arrived at the villa seeing it lived up to the description on the website. The villa is very spacious,clean and well maintained and the views, particularly at sunset, are wonderful.The owners had gone to great lengths to provide everything one needs to enjoy a relaxing, stress free holiday. We tried several of the restaurants recommended by Marina,all very good, but most evenings we were all happy just to make use of the lovely bbq area at the villa and finish the evening off with a midnight swim in the lit pool.Two of our party [15year old daughter and friend] stayed in the apartment below the villa which they loved. Again,very clean and well equipped. Although beach,restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance I would recommend a car to tackle the hill up to the villa,particularly for those not as young as they used to be. A small price to pay for the views from the villa.Once again, thankyou Richard and Marina for the rental of your beautiful villa,without doubt we shall be returning in the not too distant future.

Marina and her husband are so lovely, we had the chance to meet them. And the house - v v comfortable. The view- spectacular! We spent 3 lovely days by the pool bbq'g, great fun.
