Our much loved house in Turkey has 3 bedrooms, an open lounge/ dining area and kitchen and a large, partly covered terrace, which runs all the way round the house, ideal for outside eating or relaxing, either in the sun or escaping into the shade. The house is newly furnished and decorated in neutral styles and colours. The kitchen is fully fitted, with a gas oven, large fridge/ freezer and a good selection of equipment. There are clear sea views from the upstairs balconies, and a wonderful panoramic view from the roof terrace, where there is also a built in barbecue for outdoor, evening dining. The house itself is situated in a quiet area, surrounded by other holiday houses. There is little to disturb you apart from the choice of when to eat and when next to go for a swim.

There are a number of narrow, slightly stony beaches near the house; the first is only 150 metres away. You can opt for a busier beach with bar and restaurant or a quieter beach with little other company. Wherever you go the water is clear and clean. The bus service into town runs from the end of the street, and provides the chance for shopping trips to the market. Otherwise there are several small supermarkets within walking distance that provide the basics. Ayvalik provides the perfect quiet holiday destination with the important ingredients of good weather and a wonderful location.

Wir, 2 Erwachsene 1 Kind, verbrachten 17 Tage in diesem Ferienhaus.
Fazit:
Ein sehr gepflegtes geräumiges Haus mit Garten, Gartenhaus, Grill und grosser Terasse ums ganze Haus herum.
Es gibt 3 unmittelbare Nachbarhäuser mit sehr netten Nachbarn die auch Deutsch und ggf. Englisch sprechen.
Man ist quasi direkt am Meer, es gibt in der Nähe super leckere Restaurants und Supermarkets mit kostenlosen WLAN-Zugang, für die Surfer. Das Meer ist sehr sauber und es gibt viel zu schnorcheln. Für die Innenstadt stehen für Autolose überall Dolmus-Haltestellen für ein paar Lira bereit. 2 x die Woche gibt es in der Nähe riesige Markts, wo sehr billig eingekauft werden kann, Nahrungsmittel, Kleidung, etc..
Zur Preis-Leistung kann ich nur eins sagen: Super Top!
zumal bis zu 5 Personen zum gleichen Preis Platz haben.
Da wir mit dem Auto reisten und auch Verwante in der Nähe, 40km, besuchten, konnten wir uns auch die anderen Gegenden anschauen. Hier am Haus ist es am ruhigsten und man kann gut relaxen.

Wir werden mit Sicherheit in ca.2 Jahren wieder buchen.

Als fünfköpfige Familie hatten wir ausreichend Platz und konnten an dem kleinen, sehr sauberen Strand bzw. im Garten wunderbar ausspannen. Das Wasser war meist ruhig und klar. Im großen Supermarkt haben auch unsere Kinder etwas nach ihrem Geschmack gefunden (Nutella, Wurst), Ayvalik bietet eine schöne Altstadt und einen tollen Markt.
Anfang September war es allerdings nicht mehr ganz so ruhig, weil die Renovierungsarbeiten an den umliegenden Häusern begannen.
