The Shepherds Barn is recently converted 5 star self-catering accommodation with the highest level of comfort and design. It is situated in the picturesque rural valley of Quernmore of the Forest of Bowland. The views from the 'barn' are stunning. Yet only 3 miles from the historic town of Lancaster, and within 40 minutes drive of the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales and Blackpool by the sea, it is the perfect base for exploring the North West of England. Inside there is a huge lounge/dining room with a central real flame gas fire. The kitchen has the extra warmth of a traditional farmhouse aga for cooking. There are 3 spacious bedrooms, all are individually designed, all are en-suite. There is also a unique opportunity to watch the Sheepdogs, like those from 'One Man and his Dog'. And if you are really interested you may be able to try to work with them yourself!
