On offer is a delightful, comfortably furnished apartment with one of the largest south facing terraces overlooking the Mediterranean and La Herradura village. The apartment comprises of: - Entrance hallway - Large living/dining room with excellent seaviews. There are double sliding doors opening onto the main terrace. - Master bedroom with built-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom. excellent sea and mountain views. - Second double bedroom with built-in wardrobe and with its own separate shower room. - Large fully fitted kitchen with hatch to dining area. - Separate laundry room with exit onto a private patio ideal for drying laundry or for extra storage. The apartment has full daikin air con and heating throughout. It also includes ceiling fans in the living/dining area. Included in the rental is a private indoor parking place and guests have the full use of the community pools with BBQ area, the paddel tennis court and the basketball court.

La Herradura and the Costa Tropical - La Herradura is a small seaside village situated in a beautiful horseshoe bay on the Mediterranean coast of Granada in the south of Spain. The 2 kilometers long beach is protected by two rocky headlands, Punta de la Mona at the east end of the bay and Cerro Gordo to the west. Costa Tropical is the name given to the 73 km coastline of Granada province in Andalusia. Although no longer Spain's best kept secret, the Costa Tropical remains relatively unspoilt. The Sierra Almijara mountains meet the Mediterranean along this coast, forming dozens of secluded coves and beaches bounded by sheer cliffs that are only accessible on foot or by boat. Cerro Gordo at the west end of La Herradura bay is part of one of Spain's protected natural parks, the Acantilados de Maro-Cerro Gordo. El Balcon is a very pretty urbanisation with stunning panoramic views of La Herradura bay and beautiful mature gardens. El Balcon is in the upper part of Carmenes del Mar.

Local Attractions: Within the immediate vicinity of the apartment you will find several beautiful walks. The most noteworthy will take you to the local Tower and the local beach (Calaiza), however, you may have the mountain goats as company!

Ski: The apartment is a just a 80 minute drive to the Sierra Nevada ski resort. The resort overlooks Granada city, it has the best snow and the longest season in Spain. You can expect at least five months of snow. Sierra Nevada has over 60km of ski slopes with 45 pistes and 6 off-piste routes. There are 2 cable cars, 12 chair lifts and 5 ski lifts (2009). The ski resort is open from 9am to 5pm although you can ski at night at weekends and bank holidays.

Golf: Within 30 minutes drive you can arrive at either Los Mariscos golf course (situated between Salobrena and Motril) or Baviera Golf which is near Velez Malaga.
