This house is particularly ideal for two families, couples or groups holidaying together but also able to enjoy their own space and privacy, as the house can be self contained on both levels. Downstairs there is a Summer kitchen, convenient for outside dining and access to the pool area, with electric oven, hob, microwave, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, and a dining table and chairs, a lounge area with French TV, CD/radio and access to a terrace overlooking vineyards, with dining table and 8 chairs. On the same level is a bathroom with shower and wc, one double bedroom and one twin. Upstairs is a second large kitchen with fabulous views, electric oven and grill, fridge /freezer and dining table with and chairs. There is a large comfortable lounge with satellite TV, DVD and CD player and doors with access to balcony overlooking the vineyards, one double bedroom also with opening onto the balcony and one twin room with mountain views, plus bathroom with shower, and a separate wc

La Celeste is situated on a winding country lane leading out of the village of Marseillette, Located in the Etang de Marseillette it is ideally situated for walking, fishing cycling and jogging through the quiet picturesque surroundings. The area has the distinction of having the famous Canal du Midi (now listed by UNESCO as a world heritage site) running through the village. The house is within walking distance of the village where you will find a restaurant with children play area and friendly bar. Nearby in Trèbe, there are numerous shops, 2 supermarkets and a tourist office. Several restaurants situated on the banks of the Canal offer an ideal place to relax and watch the boats. The fabulous medieval city of Carcassonne, which is the only fortified town in Europe still inhabited, is 17km away. Fairy tale city with over 2000 years of history with its romantic spires, fortification, restaurants and chic boutiques.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Payment is acceptable in £ or €. Any other currency, exchange and transfer costs, are payable by the client. Payment can be made by cheque or direct bank payment. A 25% deposit is payable to secure dates. Balance is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival date together with €360 (or £250), Security Deposit, which will be refunded by post, minus any breakage charges. Or in full, on completion of a satisfactory inventory, following your departure.
    All bed linen bath towels and pool towels are supplied.
    The house is fully central heated. An additional charge of £10 per week should be added to cover cost during the months October to March inclusive
  • Changeover days are Saturday during the months July and August.
    The cost of flights into the area can vary depending on the day of the week. To assist you in cutting cost we can be flexible with start and finish dates outside the months of July and August.
