La Svolta was born by realizing a dream: the recovery of physiologic rhythms of life, the contact with colours and shades of a natural but absolutely special atmosphere. Coming to know La Svolta means coming to know times and places belonging to us, but that we forgot about. La Svolta was created by restoring two old farm buildings located between a forest and a large olive orchard and its principal activity is the production of 'extra virgin olive oil'. The oil is produced according to strict standards indicating origin (d.o.p.) and zone (i.g.p.) which is called Colli Amerini. All work is carried out strictly according to biological standards. In November and December the activity is dedicated to the harvest of the olives and pressing to produce oil. At other times activities include the harvesting and drying of various herbs and spices and the care of a biological vegetable garden.

La Svolta may also be the starting place for exciting sight seeing tours around Umbria, in order to discover its beautiful natural, historical and cultural resources.
