Stress Free weekend

arclarky Glasgow
Review Submitted: November 16, 2009 Date of Stay: November 2009
With a beautiful drive to get to Kilchurn, we found that this was only the start of a wonderful weekend where we managed to shake off our shackles from normal life and relax into a tranquil setting which needs to be seen to be appreciated.
The Cabin is cosy and the view is sublime, whether you are looking out over the Loch during the day, as the fog is setting or lifting, with a clear sky and the moon shining down across with a stunning beam stretching across the Loch, you will forget your worries and feel rested and care free.
Everything you need for a fabulous time without the usual rushing around, is in or around the cabin. The villagers are friendly and the social club provides you with the opporunity to enjoy a night with the locals, close at hand.
The walks are a world away and you can walk at your own pace but you must do the Avich Falls walk, as when you arrive at the bottom of the falls, the sight and sound is wonderful. The walks are so close at hand you can get to them from the cabin with or without your car.
We will be going back again and no doubt will enjoy ourselves as much as we did, if not more.
