Home House is a stylish house, retaining it's original Georgian features but with a few contemporary touches added. It is divided between 4 floors. In the light basement is the kitchen and dining area, with a door opening to a private courtyard garden. With a dining room table and 10 chairs this is a wonderfully spacious place for friends to eat and chat. We have a range cooker, a dishwasher, a huge fridge freezer, a washer dryer and a microwave oven. There is a portable radio and also an amp and speakers with IPOD lead. There are 2 lounges, both with a sofa bed. We have a flat screen TV with built in DVD, an alcove filled with games for all ages, plus a large library with books to appeal to all. We have a large family bathroom with WC, bath, shower and bidet. Also an ensuite WC and wash basin off the master bedroom with kingsize bed. 2 more bedrooms on the top floor, one with a double bed and the other with full size twin beds. A large shower room can be accessed from either room.

Ramsgate is a wonderfully picturesque seaside town with a beautiful blue flag sandy beach and a wealth of restaurants, bars and places of interest to visit. With it's Royal Harbour (the only one in the UK) and the old Clockhouse, which houses the Maritime Museum, you can gaze out to sea and relax. Whether you want an energetic holiday walking, cycling or taking part in heart-racing water sports - or pottering around museums and other historical attractions - or perhaps playing golf on one of many championship courses available locally - there are plenty of things for everyone to get involved with, rain or shine. There are some amazing nature reserves, trail walks and a fantastic safari park nearby. Broadstairs, an old haunt of Charles Dickens, is an easy and enjoyable walk, along the cliffs or beach, half an hour away. Canterbury and Whitstable can be reached by bus and train or a short drive in the car. You can even hop on a ferry from Ramsgate and spend the day in Belgium.

  • we have a large travel cot and 2 lounges, one with a kingsize sofa bed and the other with a double sofa bed. There is an en suite WC attached to the master bedroom (with the kingsize bed).
