Photos and Description of this Loule holiday cottage 2 bed cottage, sleeps 4/5, 2 km. to the north of Loule, close to all ammenities

The cottage is set in the Algarvean countryside, yet only a few minutes from the interesting town of Loule with its many shops, restaurants & bars. From the south facing patio the views over the countryside to the distant sea are a pleasure& in the evening watching the beautiful sunsets with a cool drink is a very relaxing way to end the day. The cottage has an open plan living area with all mod cons, double bedroom with a king size bed, single bedroom with 2 single beds and a good size bathroom with a large walk-in shower, (2m x 1m). Electric fans are supplied and for the cooler evenings electric radiators are available. Our fields total about 10,000 sq metres with almond, fig and olive trees, the local shepherd still walks his flock across our land. The pool is approx. 7.3m x 3.75 x 1.25m, it is fitted with a solar panel, this should allow swimming from March until October.

Location: Loule in Portugal

Loule is on the edge of the golden triangle, within 20, minutes of Faro Airport, several major golf courses, miles of golden beaches, water sports, water parks, night clubs, casino's, discotheques and go-karting. Loule itself is the largest of the Algarves inland towns, it has many good quality restaurants & bars all at very reasonable prices. Loule has its own moorish castle and a working salt mine that at various times of the year may be visited, the town has a daily indoor fish and vegetable market, on Saturdays the local farmers surround the market selling their produce. Also on Saturdays a gypsy market is held on the edge of town. Around the castle walls is the artisan centre where leather, copper and pottery items are produced. Loule is probably best known for its Carnival (the largest in the country) which is held on the three days before Ash Wednesday and the first Saturday in August. In June, July & August the are a number of music festivals featuring all types of music
