Alozaina is a traditional white village in the foothills of the Sierra de Las Nieves National Park making it a great location for walkers, birdwatchers, cyclists and nature lovers in general. The area is tranquil and relaxing and is the place to be in order to experience the traditional Spanish way of life. The village is picturesque and contains many narrow winding streets that are a relic of its Moorish heritage. It is a joy to explore and discover the numerous local stores, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance from the house. The ground floor comprises a cosy lounge , a separate kitchen, dining room, shower and WC and double bedroom. Doors lead from the dining room to a patio area outside with sunloungers. The upper floor has two bedrooms, one double and one twin, large landing /sitting area, a bathroom with bath, shower and WC. A door leads onto a terraced area outside with table and chairs and beautiful views of the mountains and the village church.

Alozaina is a traditional Spanish white village with steep and narrow winding streets. It is ideal for those seeking the real Spanish way of life, away from the tourist crowds. It is situated between the historical city of Malaga and the spectacular town of Ronda. Casa Colina (Hill House) is built on 2 floors with lovely views of the Church and castle walls. There is a patio area on the ground floor, and a further terraced area on the upper floor with views over the village and surrounding mountains. The house is in the peaceful old part of the village, 5 minutes walk from the centre with cafes, tapas bars shops and restaurants. The Centre of the village can be lively as there are often fiestas where all are welcome. The public swimming pool with cafe and bar (open summer months) is only a few minutes walk away. Other amenities include banks, Petrol Station (open 7 days/wk) and a Walk-In Medical Centre (open 24 hrs/7days wk).

The Village: Alozaina has an open air swimming pool with a poolside cafe open during July and August. The village has a cash machine, two banks, two small supermarkets and several small shops, butchers, bakers, fresh fish shop, and newsagents, There are many more shops and larger Supermarkets a 20 minute drive away in Coin. There is a market in Alozaina every Tuesday selling fresh fruit & veg, clothes etc. There are several restaurants in the village and surrounding area serving excellent food, and a takeaway pizza shop which serves delicious home made pizzas. The village has several bars most of which serve tapas, coffee and soft drinks.

Places to Visit: There are numerous places to visit including: Ronda (just under an hour's drive) a spectacular town built on the edge of the Teba Gorge with many historic buildings. Ardales and the Lakes (35 mins drive) where you can swim in the turquoise waters of the lake, hire canoes, picnic and enjoy some lovely walks with stunning scenery. El Chorro Gorge (40 mins drive) an impressive sight, with good walking all year round. Malaga (45 mins drive) where the Castle and Cathedral are well worth a visit. Marbella is the nearest coastal resort, and there are many unspoilt beaches with restaurants all along the coast towards the resort of Fuengirola. Granada (2hrs drive) where you can visit the Alhambra Palace or Sierra Nevada Ski Resort in a day. Gibraltar (2hrs drive) can be visited on a day trip for sightseeing.
