The delightful two-storey Villa Rula, located in the picturesque village of Spartia, was built in 2006 and will be available for rental for the first time from May 2010. The property is 145m2 with an exclusive swimming pool and a barbeque area surrounded by a lovely landscaped garden. There are three bedrooms that consist of an ensuite double, a double and also a twin bedroom that are designed to sleep a total of six or seven people. There is also a daybed and cot if required. The kitchen is fully fitted with modern accessories and a separate dining room area will comfortably seat eight people. With air conditioning throughout, a TV, DVD Player, stereo and washing machine, Villa Rula will cater for all your needs within an environment of top quality furniture and locally commissioned artwork. There are upstairs balconies, a seated patio area and a large hammock in the garden that will give you the opportunity to relax and enjoy the mountain and sea views.

Surrounded by a variety of cyprus, olive, pine and eucalyptus trees, Villa Rula is located in Spartia on the southern coast of Kefalonia. With its harbour and main square, small shops, mini-markets and tavernas, Spartia can truly be described as a traditional Greek village. There are spectacular views of Mount Aenos, St Georges Venetian Castle and the Ionian Sea. The property is located 3km from Pessada Port and a twice daily ferry trip to Zakynthos may appeal to some visitors. The picturesque cove of Spartia Beach is 1 km from Villa Rula and has excellent facilities to enable a leisurely day in the sun. Power boat trips and water sports can also be arranged from Spartia Beach for the more energetic amongst us. There are a number of other beaches within close proximity. Our capital Argostoli is only 8km away and offers a night of entertainment, many fine restaurants, people watching and Greek hospitality. Spartia is a perfect base from which to explore the many delights in Kefalonia.
