This delightful, traditional greek village Lakithra is located in the southwest of the island of Kefalonia and is surrounded by olive groves and lemon trees.It is known for its advantageous location and warm climate. Some of the prettiest beaches are in the Lakithra vicinity including: Avithos, Ai Helis and Ammes in Livatho and Lassi Platis Gialos, in the direction of Argostoli. Other beaches such as:Karavados, Pessada and Lourdas are only a short drive away. Argostoli, the capital is just 2 km away and is a lively cosmopolitan town with an exciting atmosphere, numerous bars, restaurants and shops.
