Mas St Vincent is an 18 century Provencal mas,large farmhouse, carefully renovated to modern standards. Located in a quiet valley at the foot of the Mont Ventoux, the National Park of of the Dentelles du Montmirail, and market town of Vaison la Romaine. The Mas, in 4 hectares of private gardens and meadows, has impressive views of the Mont Ventoux, the Drome mountain range, and surrounding hills. Original features: Flagstones, 2 fireplaces, oak beams, 18 th century bread oven. Period furniture, elegant classical 6 window drawing room (75 m2). Very large modern kitchen (45 m2) double doors opening onto large terrace, garden, and grounds. Eating places: in kitchen, dining room, terrace, large pool house and terraces, and walled courtyard. Beautiful 12 by 6 metre heated pool, deep and shallow ends, surrounding terraces. Quiet and lovely unspoilt country setting, 2 km from village. Splendid views and walks all around.

Good views of the Mont Ventoux (6200 ft, and 19 km distant) from the house, with its splendid walks,cycling, and large forests.Shopping in Vaison for normal provisions (2 supermarkets), and 1 smaller supermarket in Malaucene. Many nearby medieval provencal hilltop villages, each with its weekly mkt day, and wine cellars. The heart of the lower Cote du Rhone wine region is within 12 km with such names as: Chateaneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas, Vacqueras, Cairanne. Many good local restaurants. Famed and historic towns: Avignon, Orange, Aix-en Provence. Children love the sunshine and warm water.Average pool water temperature in July/August around 29 c.
