Thailand Central Region holiday condo: Hua Hin

My wife and i stayed at the condo on 14th. March 09 for one week on our way back from touring parts of Australia.We were looking to chill out and this luxurious apartment fitted the bill completely,the welcome pack left by the owners certainly got us on our way.
This newly built fully furnished condo had everything you could possibly want flat screen television,dvd player,i-pod dock,dvd's,books and a lovely balcony overlooking a swimming pool that runs the length of the complex.We used the master en-suite bedroom with the four poster bed (pictured) the other double bedroom has shower and toilet facilities adjacent all beautifully furnished.The well equiped kitchen and dining area is ideal ,although we tended to only use it for breakfast as it was so cheap to eat out.
On the way to the main swimming pool overlooking the beach you pass through well manicured gardens and on arrival you are provided with lounger's and parasol for the sunbeds by the security guard,.We spent many a long day there and at lunch time we walked a few minutes along the beach to the Marriott Hotel beach bar and restaurant for cocktails,each day they had a different cocktail costing the equivalent of £2-excellent.
There is so much to do including golf,water sports,horseriding etc.but visiting the night markets is a must.We often went before our evening meal and tried a different restaurant each night.The owner's information booklet is excellent and details everything, recomended restaurants,events and places to visit etc.and is a must to browse through,especially if staying for a longer period.
Over the road is a local supermarket which had everything we needed
at a good price,crossing the road is an experience but all part of the adventure.The 24 hour security is a comfort and also unobtrusive,the ambience of the complex just makes you feel safe.There is no requirement for a car as taxis are plentiful and cheap.We had all of our clothes laundered locally and they came back ironed and folded for an unbelievable price.My wife wished to visit a local hairdresser for a haircut before she came home, costing all of £6,but don't worry ladies her hairdresser at home said that it was a good job.
We had such a relaxing and enjoyable time so we have recommended the condo and complex to all our friends and relatives.
The apartment is 5 star and we would like to thank Jimmy Jean and especially John for making our stay so memorable.
We would recommend this apartment to anyone.

My husband and I shared this beautiful apartment with our daughter and son-in-law in July 2009. Everything about Baan San Ploen was perfect. The complex is stunning, set in tropical gardens with a large pool which looks on to the idyllic white sandy beach. It is ideally situated in Hua Hin with shops, restaurants and bars nearby. The security is excellent and the staff extremely courteous and friendly.

The apartment itself is immaculate and luxurious with modern comfortable furniture in the living room, two spacious double bedrooms and even on the balcony! The kitchen is well equipped and we enjoyed a few home cooked meals, taking advantage of the availability of fresh local produce from the nearby market and shops.

These owners really have thought of everything! They provided books, DVDs and a pack containing information on where to go in Hua Hin. During our holiday we did lots of shopping, enjoyed massages, had lovely lunches and great nights out. A highlight of the holiday was the visit to the Elephant Village.
