Beautifully refurbished two bedroom apartment in the centre of Les Contamines. Close to all amenities, Tourist Info and 5 min bus ride to the cable car. The all year round village of Les Contamines provides something for everyone, from fantastic skiing (it holds the snow) to family fun and entertainment in the Parc du Pontet. It is also on the Tour du Mont Blanc- so hiking and climbing opportunities are endless. We have refurbished our apartment to a high standard with some fine finishing touches and everything you need for a great holiday is provided.

Notes: The kitchen has a brand new cooker with induction hob and oven, fridge/freezer and brand new microwave. The living room is large and south west facing with decked balcony overlooking the village and lovely views of Mont Jolie. TV, DVD, VHS, CD/HiFi, large wooden sofa has pull out underbed to convert to one double or two singles. Large cave on the ground floor with sperate keys. Great for storing skis,climbing equipment, bikes Bedlinen is provided. Please bring your own towels. The apartment is cleaned/prepared for guests before rental with heating turned on etc (winter).

Skiing Les Contamines: Les Contamines-Montjoie/Hauteluce ski area is located at the heart of the Mont Blanc range at an altitude of between 1164 to 2500m. It has 75 miles of downhill runs in the linked Evasion ski area (St Gervais/Megeve); guaranteed quality snow cover (thanks to its 258 snow cannons) and the skiing of your dreams, from the beginning to the end of the season. Its snow record is reliable and as most of the slopes are above 1800m and face north and north-east, they retain the snow when other nearby resorts are suffering. Les Contamines is also part of the Mont Blanc unlimited ski pass 'Pays du Mont Blanc' which boasts a combined total of 394 individual pistes and with many pistes above 2500m, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season. Les Contamines also has a reputation of one of the best for off piste and ski touring. Cross Country skiing is provided for with 26k of groomed runs catering for all abilities. Snow shoe way marked trails, ice climbing and husky dog sledging ...

The village of Les Contamines: Les Contamines has several small supermarkets, bakeries, butchers and tabac. There is a bank with an ATM. Market day is Tuesday. Plenty of choice for restaurants and bars. Ski rental and outdoor equipment shops and an ice rink in the middle of the village in winter which becomes a boules area in the summer. The Parc du Pontet (5 mins drive out of the village) has everything from tree top rope courses, tennis courts, golf driving range, bathing lake, rock climbing area, horse-riding and the chance to ‘mush’ huskies!
