The apartment is located at Residence Club Le Bristol located in Isola 2000, Southern France at an altitude of 2000m in Alpes-Maritimes. The Club is built in a chalet style on the terraced mountain side and there are superb views from every balcony. Activities in the winter include skiing, skating, snowboarding and ice driving and après-ski. In the summer the activities include walking, tennis, golf, swimming, fishing, horse riding, mountain-biking and fitness club. The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped and sleeps four in comfort (with a sofa bed) and is within walking distance from the piste.

Just 90 km from Nice and the beaches of the French Riviera you'll find the purpose built ski resort of Isola 2000. This location combines the Mediterranean sun and the natural and cultural beauty of the mountains of Mercantour. It is one of the Stations du Mercantour together with Auron and St Dalmas. Isola 2000, located at an altitude of 2000m in Alpes Maritimes borders the national park, Parc Mercantour. At this height you can be as snow sure as you'll get in Europe. Winter activities include 120 km of piste with good terrain parks for skiing, skating, snow boarding, snow scooters, ice driving and apres-ski. The resort is best suited for beginners/intermediates as there is limited black run for advanced/experts.

  • IMPORTANT:
    In addition to the rental rate quoted, there is a €30 per week non refundable utilities charge for electricity which is payable on arrival and a €55 refundable deposit to cover any breakages or damage. This will need to be paid in cash to the our onsite team.

    Full payment is taken at the time of booking.
  • The party leader must be at least 18 years of age at the time of booking and is responsible for making all payments due. We will provide you with a written confirmation either by post or electronically by email. Payment is due at the time of booking by cheque, debit or credit card. There is a 2% charge for credit card payments and a £0.50 charge for debit cards. Full terms and conditions will be provided with the confirmation letter.

    We request that your arrival details are forwarded to us prior to your travel either by phone or email so that a member of our staff can meet and take you to your apartment.
  • We recommend that you have travel insurance. If you have to cancel your booking please contact us as soon as possible. The day we receive notification is the date on which your booking is cancelled. There is a cancellation fee of £35 per week. Providing it is 30 days before the start date of your holiday, you may receive a refund/part refund.

Notes: The chalet style apartment has been well furnished with quality fittings and has a living area with a sofa and chairs and a flat-screen TV and a well equipped kitchen area with dining table and chairs. The sofa converts into a comfortable sofa-bed for two people. A cot and a high chair are available for guests. There is a separate bedroom with a double bed, wardrobes and drawers. The apartment also has a bathroom with a full bath and a shower.

About the Alpes Maritimes: The Alpes Maritimes region of France is located in the south east of the country and offers visitors a wide range of landscapes, town and villages to enjoy. From the stunning Mediterranean beaches on the coast to superb mountain scenery and great skiing just a short distance north, guests really are spoilt for choice.

The Mercantour National Park, created in 1979, is one of seven national parks in France and Isola 2000 is located on the edge of this. Walkers may see a chamois, several thousand of which live in the park and may often hear the whistling of marmots. The ermine is rarer as is the ibex and the mouflon, although with a little luck you may be able to observe them during the coolest parts of the day in the summer. There is a tremendous variety of wildlife in the Mercantour. Stags and roebucks in the undergrowth, hares and wild boars, partridges, eagles and buzzards, numerous species of butterflies and even a few Italian Wolves (which migrated there at the beginning of the nineties).

The Cote d’Azur with its well known towns such as Nice, Cannes and Menton is a great place to visit and ideal for a day out. The Alpes Maritimes are the most southern alps in France and often have better snow conditions so visitors are almost guaranteed snow for their trip.
