Set on the edge of a national forest 'Domaine des Rochers' offers a beautiful and tranquil haven from the pressures and hustle of everyday life. The two adjoining stone cottages are grouped around a mediterranean style courtyard planted with olive trees,rosemary and lavender. A sun terrace beyond leads to a free-form tiled swimming pool(10x5m) for your exclusive use. Shaded woodland terraces lead to a gate from where footpaths and bridleways access the adjoining national forest. This is a special environment for lovers of wild flowers, animals and bird life, and yet within easy access of the Mediterranean sea and many exciting towns and historic villages of the S of France. The A75 is only a 10 min. drive (and yet a world away). 'Les Pins' the original caretakers cottage, has an additional private terrace and gravel garden to the west. 'Les Chenes' has a private covered terrace leading from the first floor open- plan living area. Neither cottage is overlooked.

'Les Pins' is a cosy stone built cottage, an ideal romantic getaway for two. N.B. Bookings for both cottages are restricted to adults only( babes in arms are welcome). 'Les Pins', is a one bedroom cottage with pine clad ceilings, furnished mainly in Scandinavian style. The double bedded room has patio doors leading onto courtyard, and a modern en- suite shower room.. The large living/dining area has an antique pine dresser, round pine dining table and chairs, and a wood burning stove for autumn/winter lets. The sitting area is furnished with a comfortable bed setee, bookshelves, rug, coffee table and arm chair. Free broadband access(WIFI) There is a compact well supplied kitchen area with dishwasher, cooker,microwave etc. and west facing views . Oak french windows lead from here onto a private west facing patio and terrace, with outdoor table and chairs and gas barbecue. Doors on east side lead to a covered porch, with the courtyard and pool beyond.

Set on the edge of national forest in a beautiful valley of cliffs and pine woods. Remote location , yet within 10 minutes of A75 which leads to Millau and its famous viaduct and the Gorges du Tarn to the north(30min.) Also close to the famous Cirque de Navacelles and the causses du Larzac.To the south lie the beaches of the mediterranean (50 min), and the towns of Pézénas and Montpellier. Close to the medieval fortified village of Soubes, and the town of Lodève , with its museum, art gallery and cathedral.
