A private and self contained apartment comprising the entire ground floor of a large, secluded and peaceful country house. Extensive grounds, gardens and heated pool (shared only with owners) guarantee a peaceful and restful holiday. Available only between May and September, this ground floor, self contained apartment is ideal for couples or small families. Spacious well equipped kitchen with large round dining table. Comfortably furnished sitting area leading to outside terrace with a view of the wooded cliffs of the 'Cirque du bout du Monde'. Two bedrooms with interconnecting shower room and toilet, facing the rose gardens. Additional toilet/cloakroom. Private terrace/patio. A short stroll within the 7 acre grounds and gardens leads to the swimming pool and lawn area which is shared with the owners. The property is set on the edge of a national forest where ramblers, mountain bikers and nature lovers can enjoy the innumerable footpaths and forest tracks with their extensive views.

Very peaceful home, great country-side

We really enjoyed our stay in Les Rochers.
The gite has everything you need. Washing machine, dish-washer etc. We enjoyed the missing TV.

Probably the living room is a small minus. It is a bit dark. So probably in times with unsure weather (winter) you would probably choose the other gite - La Primelle . with the fascinating living room.
We were there in September. So during the day, you're outside anyway. So we didn't find it disadvantageous.

There are loads of things one can do in the area. Sightseeing (Nimes, Carcassonne, Montagne Noire, Millau, Uzes), canoeing, great walks, beach-days, nice restaurants.
We think the flat is ideally located between the seaside and the Causse.

A car is an absolute MUST.

The flat was clean. Definitely no complaints there.

Very helpful and friendly hosts. A big plus.
Owner's Response: Thank you "Charlie". Friendly visitors are a big plus for us too.

We only make " les Rochers" available in the hottest months(May-September) when a cool living room is a positive advantage.

Our other gite,"La Primelle/Les Chenes" (Property no.412489) does receive lots of winter sun and is available all year round.
