Our holiday home is the perfect place for walking, biking, climbing, joining local fiestas, visiting ancient ruins or soaking up the sun and relaxing with a glass of Rioja in the sunshine. We have a traditional, spacious house situated in the typical ly white Spanish town of Alora. The property has delightful mountain views from a large roof top terrace, whilst a second large terrace has a splash pool, loungers, sunshades, BBQ and dining facilities. There is also an undercover dining area looking out to palm and lemon trees and beautiful plants adorning the garden. The property opens into a comfortable lounge with TV and DVD. The kitchen is fully fitted and also has a large dining area. There is also a separate dining room. Three double rooms (one with additional bed) sleep seven people and there is an on-suite single room. There are two bathrooms and a shower room. Our house is in a quiet, little, authentic street with parking available outside or a few meters away.

Our property is approximately 15 mins drive to the National Park of El Chorro. Here you will find a gorge, cave houses and beautiful forests on sandstone rock. As you pass through El Chorro you will arrive at the magnificent lakes of Ardales. Walking, birdwatching, swimming, fishing, paddelos and soaking up the views at these fresh water lakes can't be beaten. There are several, superb, quality restaurants overlooking the lakes, not to be missed! The town of Alora has a good selection of shops, restaurants and bars to sample local tapas. There is also a castle, a cinema, a fitness centre and a swimming pool. Monday is market day for fresh fruit and veg, clothing, shoes and various stalls. There is a direct line to Malaga with an easy connection to other coastal resorts. There is always plenty to do at the coast for every age group e.g. zoos, funfairs, adventure parks, water parks and watersports, castles, beaches and plenty more.
