La Oveja Verde (The Green Sheep) is a complex made up of 11 apartments and a restaurant in Pitres (La Taha). It is located in the geographical centre of the High Alpujarras and it consists of independent holiday homes, built in the traditional Alpujarras architectural style: flat roofs, white chimneys, ceilings made of whitewashed logs... all of them surrounded by a 2,000 metres long garden with spectacular views to The Taha Valley, which you can enjoy from the sunny terrace. Our apartment is provided with central heating, bathroom, sitting room and kitchen, chimney and a large terrace... You can also try the traditional meals in our restaurant, or if you prefer it , you can enjoy our vegetarian or Italian meals. There is also a meeting room available with technology; computer, the Internet, and a library. La Oveja Verde has recently been cerfied as Official Information Point of Sierrra Nevada Natural Park. Our apartment is located in Pitres (La Taha) in the High Alpujarras of Granada, at an altitude of 1245 metres. It is just 100 metres away form the town centre, but surrounded of nature and mountains with spectacular views of the valley from our own gardens. If you are interested in art, you can visit one of the wonders of the city: La Alhambra, in Granada, or many of the monuments in the city, as well as tasting the typical 'tapas'.
