The property is in an excellent location at the foot of the Montgo mountain, an 8-10 minute walk to the cosmopolitan town centre, marina and beach. It is located in small development of 14 houses. On the ground floor there is a large open plan living room with sofa, TV with English channels, DVD, CD, breakfast bar, dining table & chairs & shower room & wc. There are double doors to the private garden and terrace where there is another dining table for 6. The garden leads through a lockable gate into the communal gardens and pool (never seems to be busy!) The fully fitted kitchen includes a dishwasher & washing machine. The first floor houses the air conditioned master double bedroom with its own terrace overlooking the gardens and the Montgo Mountain. A further 2 bedrooms provide a double and twin beds respectively along with the bathroom. A baby package is available and includes monitor, bottle steriliser, highchair, cot with mosquito net, bath, sun-lounger, play pen & babygate

Denia is a beautiful coastal town situated halfway between Valencia and Alicante, with 20km of blue flag sandy beaches. An 8 minute walk from the house, this picturesque town at the base of Montgo mountain, has its own 'Ramblas' style main street with bars, pavement cafes, shops and boutiques . Denia also boasts a castle, a traditional market which is held twice a week as well as a night market. Frequently quoted as having the most ideal climate in Europe, with pleasant cool sea-breezes during Summer afternoons, it has a thriving fishing port, offers boat trips along the coast and daily ferries to Ibiza/Majorca Mallorca. One of Denia’s sandy beaches is only an 8 minute walk away and has parasols, loungers, volleyball nets and lifeguards. The beach is next to the recently built marina which boasts stunning restaurants and bars and a wealth of amazing sailing boats. It is perfect for a daytime or evening stroll.

  • • CLEANING & LAUNDRY - In between rentals, the house is professionally cleaned and the towels and linen are professionally laundered. There is a fee of £80 to cover this. This fee will be added to the rental fee shown above.
    • OPTIONAL MAID SERVICE - If you are staying for more than 1 week, you may want to take advantage of our maid service available at 10 Euros per hour, and/or collect and return laundry service available for towels/linen at 10 Euros per person. This optional maid service must be booked in advance for rentals during June, July and August.
    • DEPOSIT - There is a 25% deposit on booking and the balance is payable 6 weeks before arrival. There is also a refundable security deposit of £200. PAYMENT - preferred payment is via bank transfer however, we do also accept payment in euros.

Notes: The house is very safe and secure with roll down shutters. Whilst the property is located very close to Denia and all its amenities, it also enjoys very peaceful surroundings with beautiful well kept gardens. It is safe for childen to run around and there are many shady areas areas under palm trees should it be required. There is AC in the master bedroom and one other portable AC unit.

Golf: For Golf fanatics there is the stunning 6000 metre 18 hole La Sella course only 10 minutes away which is both challenging and enjoyable & adjoins the Marriott Golf & Spa Resort which is open to visitors so the ladies can pamper themselves whilst the men visit the 19th hole. There are 5 more 18 hole courses close-by as well as some 9 hole courses at Javea and Moraira and other close towns

Climate and Temperatures: : The World Health Organisation classifies Denia's annual climate as one of the world's best with about 300 days of sun & 2800 hours of sunshine which equates to around 9 hours a day of beautiful blue skies, warm days and golden sunsets. Denia enjoys a micro climate due to its position on the tip of the Costa Blanca coast which provides ideal characteristics for year-round living. The sea breeze also provides a pleasant cooling effect on those hot sunny summer days. Temperatures: April and May are a very comfortable 23 to 26c/73 to 78f; June is the beginning of serious summer with around 28c/82f; July & August are gloriously hot; September to mid October are normally 28c/82f.

Restaurants, bars & town and City Guides:: There are Michelin-star rated restaurants, as well as quality dining to be enjoyed in the town and in the new yacht Marina as well as in the adjoining towns. Whether it is typical local Spanish tapas or wonderful paella, excellent mouth-watering Indian cuisine or fantastic Italian pasta, beach front bars, sports bars or bodegas, there is something for everyone who enjoys the finer side to life. There are many wonderful Fiestas that take place throughout the year. There are also Popular & Classical Concerts and Firework displays. While you are here you can visit Valencia and Alicante which are only 45 minutes away where you will find fantastic shopping, culture, bullfights and interesting sightseeing. Water, safari and theme parks can be found in and around Benidorm which is a 30 minute drive down the coast or you can go inland to visit the pretty Spanish pueblos where the life goes on in the traditional relaxed Spanish way.

Excellent Holiday Accomodiation and Resort

The house was without question the best equipped house we have stayed in so far, everything we needed to keep our two children under three happy and safe was supplied.
We had a great time in Denia enjoying eating out in one of the many reasonably priced restaurants on either the main street or port area which are both within walking distance to the villa.
The nearest beach has a blue flag but we used the pool mainly which was never busy even in August.
I would definitely recommend this property to a friend or relative as I believe that people of all ages will have an extremely happy holiday there. Hopefully we will be returning sometime in the future.
Finally the setting is amazing. ENJOY

Simply a great holiday home in a great location

My girlfriend and I had a very relaxing 2 weeks in Denia based from this very well equipped, clean and modern town house.
It's location was great with short walks (and I mean no more than 10 minutes!) taking you into the heart of the cosmopolitan tree lined streets of Denia town or to the new and trendy beach and marina with it's bars and restaurants overlooking the plush super yachts and Denia castle.
Denia, thank fully, remains very much a Spanish town with great tapas restaurants, modern eclectic European cuisine and smart bars.
The small development in which the house was based has beautifully maintained gardens as well as a pool, a perfect sun trap to enjoy as an alternative to the beach.
We also spent as many evenings barbequing on the terrace over looking the Montgo mountain whilst the sun went down as we did eating in Denia's restaurants. It truly was marvellous. There are plenty of supermarkets in Denia for all the essentials that also provide excellent fish, meat and of course Rioja!
We also spent a few days exploring the rocky and breath taking coast to the south of Denia and also spent a night in Valencia, only 1 hour's drive from the house.
Organising the stay was easy and Amanda couldn't have been more helpful with tips and suggestions on things to do and places to eat.
A big thank you to Amanda and Simon for providing a venue that made for such a great holiday. One we'll certainly be returning too.
