The villa was built approximately 40 years ago and is situated about 2km from the small village of Serra-Nova, in the suburb of Carovigno, on the road from Brindisi to Ostuni. It is a five minute drive away from the Beach at Torre Guaceto. This stretch of unspoiled [22,000 hectares] coastline is protected, being designated an area of outstanding beauty and marine reserve. The villa has an elegant entrance with high gates and long drive, with lots of wonderful aspects to explore; from the formal garden, with high palms, to the small copse. The front of the property is very much a luxury villa, whilst the back is a working olive and fruit farm with over 130 olive trees, oranges of all kinds, lemons and 100 grape vines. The surrounding area is farm land, hand-farmed due to local restrictions. Everything grown here is organic due to the strict controls in Torre Guaceto. The local farmers are very friendly and will exchange goods with you from their plots.

The property is located in the beautiful Torre Guaceto UNESCO nature reserve, 5 minutes from the beach and 12 minutes from the airport the organic area is strictly controlled with olive production and hand farming. The villa boasts views towards the sea and open countryside. The white city of Ostuni is only 20 minutes drive away and the sea port of Brindisi 15 minutes. From here you can travel to Corfu, Greece and Egypt. The area of Serra Nova is a micro climate and very rarely drops below 12c. The local areas has fresh fish markets and vegetables are for sale locally. The local wines contain no preservative and are fruity in composition. The villa is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, all are happy to let you taste the local produce. Some 45 minutes away there is a town of Fasano where there is a zoo and theme park. The heel of Italy is steeped in history and dating back to roman and Greek times as well as more recently WW2 were allied forces landed in Galipoli.
