Delightful single storey cottage, attached to a converted coach house, with a large garden which backs on to farmland and orchards in the outskirts of a Wealden village. Having recently been completely renovated with a large comfortable open plan lounge/dining room, a well fitted kitchen, bathroom with w/c, basin and bath with shower facilities. A large double bedroom and another bedroom with 2 single beds and a sofa bed in the lounge. An ideal holiday cottage for a family who are looking for a country retreat, to explore the local countryside.

The village of Marden is eight miles (13km) from the county town of Maidstone. The parish church was built at the end of the 12th century. Marden is in the middle of the rich farmland of the weald, and has many orchards, coast houses and period buildings surrounding the village. The rural village has a few shops and amenities including, hairdressers, barbers, general stores, post office, country pubs, butchers, chemist, bakery, several restaurants and take-aways. You are also able to explore other surrounding villages like Goudhurst, Cranbrook, Headcorn, Biddenden, where you can find antique shops, tea and cake shops etc. The Mainline station is only 7 minutes walk. London is only 50 mins away, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Ashford and Canterbury are only few stops on the train, if you require retail therapy and to visit theatre land. Catch the Eurostar at Ashford for a day trip to France.
