The house is peaceful and secluded, set amongst fields of corn and sunflowers. It is located just outside the village of Genouille which has its own fishing lake and just a 40 minute drive to the picturesque port of La Rochelle and a 30 minute drive to the nearest sandy beach resorts of Fouras and Chatelaillon Plage. It is a spacious open plan detached cottage which has just been converted to the highest standard offering modern facilities while retaining original charm and features of oak beams and stone fireplace, upstairs is a large bedroom with 3 single beds, plus large mezzanine open plan double bedroom.
