Over 40 DVD to chose from. Free use of a laptop with internet facilities , keeping you in touch with the real world. Satellite TV, 52’’ LCD TV surround sound home cinema and sound system. Ponta Delgada is a pleasant small village in the northern coast of the wonderful Madeira Island, near São Vicente, it delights with its traditional rural ambiance. In fact, in Ponta Delgada are produced many of the freshest typical products of the Madeira Island, due to the fertile soils, wisely laboured in the irregular slopes since the territory’s colonization perios. Ponta Delgada is nowadays famous for its ocean water swimming pool resort, and by a beach situated in a bay, protected from the strongest tides and winds. Visit the caves of São Vicente and the Volcano Centre, an astonishing underground recess, naturally wrought by the convulsion of volcanic lava.If you prefer sea sports, you can always go to Clube Naval of São Vicente, about 5 kms away, where you have a variety of surf and windsurf equipments at your disposal. If you like to combine physical exercise with dazzling sceneries, adding just a hint of adventure, then why not go all the way and go on a Levada walk.

I was fortunate enough to stay in this gorgeous villa in the summer of 2009. The villa is a very comfortable size - there were six adults in our party - and there was more than enough room to accomodate us all.
The villa is in a stunning location, peaceful, quiet, with the glorious views you see in the photos.The property is beautifully decorated throughout, to the highest standards. The garden area and balcony were also well maintained.
I would have no hesitation in recommending the villa and the area ; this was my first visit to Madeira and I am quite sure I will return agan.
