A safe, extremely family friendly villa!

This villa was ideal for our young family, the safety gate around the pool was fabulous and we could sit outside and relax without worrying about the children falling into the pool. The playhouse and the slide was a big hit with my 2 year old. Lorraine and Gordan were very good and promptly took care of a few minor problems we had at the start, they also fitted the stair gates and provided a high chair, car seat and cot which was a big help. Gordans knowledge of everything and everywhere on the island is fantastic and was very helpful whenever we needed him. The villa is beautiful, spacious, clean, tidy and has everything you need. My husband loves to BBQ and it was great in the evenings to be able to put the baby to bed {we took our baby monitor with us} and sit outside having a few drinks and a BBQ while our 6 year old happily played with all the games and dvds provided. The welcome package on arrival was very appreciated especially as we arrived late in the evening with young kids and we were able to give them cheese, toast, juice and a bottle of milk before bed. My 6 year old was delighted to find a bag full of extra toys under the stairs! Luckily we had hired a car during our stay as although you could walk into the main shopping area apart from being too warm to walk the distance, it really is too far to expect little ones to walk and much to far to carry a bag full of towels and toys and nappies etc for a day at the beach. However, a wonderful morning walk to the Tiffney roundabout for fresh pastries and coffee was one of the highlights of our day! Correlejo, although beautiful, really is a quite area and having been to all the tourist spots on the first week, we were in need of more entertainment and things to do by the second week, so families with children over the age of 6 would probably find this location lacking in activities. We also found it impossible to find family entertainment in the evenings as we usually like to have dinner and go to a family entertainment show when on holidays but the one show we did locate only started at 11pm which was too late for us so we found ourselves back in the villa every evening by 8pm. Apart from those few things, this villa is perfect If you want a top class villa in a quite, relaxing location. I have recommended the villa to all my friends, family and work colleagues and would have no hesitation in doing so.
