Set in peaceful landscaped gardens, this spacious one bedroom apartment in a small development has a splendid sea view from the generously sized sun terrace. Although the beach is only four minutes walk away, the area is surprisingly quiet and tranquil. Fully furnished for self catering, the apartment has a full complement of linen and towels, Sky TV, and communal swimming pool. Whilst comfortably sleeping two, we feel the apartment is unsuitable for children. Within easy reach,( minutes by car ) ,is the magical town of Nerja, perhaps one of the last unspoiled Spanish towns on the Cost del Sol. In the other direction (even closer than Nerja), is the wonderful 2/3 mile beach promenade of Torrox Costa, with at least 20 restaurants and bars set in a safe, peaceful and well-ordered location.

The beach is a four minute walk away, with several friendly beach restaurants to choose from. Seven minutes (by car) takes you to Torrox Costa mile long beach and promenade, backed by 20 - 25 excellent restaurants and bars. Twelve minutes(by car) in the other direction brintgs you to Nerja with its 450 odd restaurants and bars and its wonderfully warm and safe Mediterranean ambiance. The Balcon de Europe area is a focus for street artists, dancers, musicians and a magical mix of Spanish nightlife. Several stunningly beautiful whitewashed villages are within a half hours drive. Frigilliana is the nearest. Nerja has five really good beaches, the best of which is the Burriana with its paella beach restaurants.Just outside Nerja are the world famous caves. They are so huge inside that orchestral concerts are regularly held there. Granada can be reached by road in one and a half hours, with the options of skiing in the Sierra Nevada and visits to the Alhambra Palace.

The locals are fond of claiming the best climate in Europe here on the Costa del Solo. The average summer temperatures of 28-30 degrees, together with the sea breeze produces some glorious weather. Throughout the winter months the days generally remain warm. Alone amongst the tourist developments of the Costa del Sol, Nerja is probably unique in having retained its original Spanish identity during its growth from a fishing village to the attractive and fascinating town it is today. Nightlife in Nerja is colourful and vibrant. There are reportedly between 450 and 500 restaurants and bars in Nerja, and the town has a warm, safe and genuinely friendly atmosphere.

have just spent a wonderful seven days at this appt. very comfortable ,clean and well maintained. the balcony view is exceptional.torrox costa and nerja are clean well run resorts with an amazing variaty of places to eat.(if your really hungry the brazilean restaurant will satisfy the biggest appetite. highly recommended, on torrox c. front.)
the only complaint i could make is that the appartment is more than an easy stroll from any shops etc and would recommend a hire car. if you dont have a car the coastal bus service is frequent and very cheap.
