Are you finding it hard to choose a London Apartment? I understand ! This is why I started my business 10 years ago. From my experience I realise that the main 3 things that people want are: 1/ A Central Area (zone 1) 2/ A safe area 3/ A cheap alternative to London Hotels. This Apartment has all 3 ! The area is safe as it is right next to the Financial District (security is high protecting Lloyds etc) From the Tower Bridge a short walk along the River path will bring you to your beautiful River Side holiday home. You can walk to many attractions: Tower, Tate, Globe, London Eye, Shakespeares Globe, London Dungeon, The Tower. Outdoor space in London is a luxury. From the Roof Terrace you can see our 'mini Manhattan' called Canary Wharf. As you relax in the evening, you can hear the boats sail by and watch the sun set over Canary Wharf. We have a portable air conditioning unit that can be placed in the lounge area or the bed room. I'm sure you will be happy in my luxury home.

Nearest Train: London Bridge at 1 Kilometres

A short walk along the River Path and you arrive at your Apartment. The green Road to the left is Tower Bridge. Within WALKING distance are: The Shakespeare Globe Theatre, The Tower of London, The Tower Bridge, The Tate Gallery, The London Eye, The 'Gherkin', Monument, , St Paul's Cathedral, TheDesign Museum,Southbank, The London Dungeon, Winston Churchills War Experience and St Katherines Dock, to name a few! ! Tower Bridge and Tower Hill are within walking distance just along the River (so you can never get lost!) If advertisers state their area is 'Tower Bridge' then the tube station should be 'Tower Hill' ! Always check on the google map! Shad Thames is stunning! You can imagine the warehouses when they were in use. Most are now restaurants and apartments. You can do lots of 'star spotting' in the area as many famous people chose to live here.

Notes: The kitchen has absoloutly everything you require, from plates, and pots and pans to an electric can openor, pizza slicer, bottle openers, good quality plates and glasses, extractor fan above the oven and the cupboards are nicely lit up from inside and underneath for softer lighting. Coffee percolator, microwave, washing up liquid and and washing tablets for the washing machine are provided. Tea/Coffee/Milk/Sugar are provided. All bed linen and towels are 100% Egyptian Cotton. Soap/Shampoo/Conditioner are all provided upon arrival and then again if staying longer than a week. A concierge is available for any deliveries/parcels. The communal areas and fast speed lift are immaculately clean. There is a normal phone in the front room and a cordless phone in the bedroom. Plenty of DVD's to choose from for children and adults.

Why I chose this Area: 'Shad Thames' is the official name of the area. I love this area because it has the unique benefit of being so central, and yet so quiet and steeped in history. It can be quite mind boggling trying to find a decent holiday home in London and the reasons I chose this Apartment/Area are: The 'City of London' is where the flat is located and this is home to the financial district, hence it has the highest security and lowest crime rates in Britain. Many tourist Attractions are walking distance. The 'City of London' is where London began. This was once London, and not the huge area as we know it now. Therefore, there is so much history in this small space. When I combined the 3 things above, I thought this is the perfect place to have a holiday home.

We are a family of five who spend five nights in this very nice and well situated appartment. An excellent terrace - we were there in october, so we did not use it much - unless the fantastic view. In the spring/summertime it must be fantastic to have this oppertunity!!

The appartment is, as mentioned very well situated within zone 1/2.
A very calm neighborhood. We were there with our 3 kids, and felt very safe. The route towards Tower Bridg is very exciting - fantastic walk along the Thames, and some very nice and exclusive shops, cafés etc.
We also had a very nice welcome from Karen with a lot of usefull information. So we definetily hope to come back again!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children
