Outside:
The villa is not overlooked from any side and is surrounded by pine trees & palmettos. Relax in seclusion with a book and drink on comfortable loungers next to your own 12' x 24' screened pool, electrically heated if necessary. The high tech purification system ensures soft, silky water with no chlorine side effects. The pool & deck are in sunshine all day, as is the lawned garden, and the fan cooled lanai is always in shade so there is somewhere to escape the hot sun when required, and to dine in comfort. Enjoy sunbathing, swimming, dining, or just sitting under the stars after dark, free from the nuisance of flying insects. You will be able to take all meals outside, with nighttime lighting from the pool, and a standard lamp or overhead lighting on the lanai. A professional pool cleaning service takes place once a week.
The area, coast & beaches:
The beautiful white sandy beaches and crystal clear warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico are a 20 minute drive away, all reached by causeway over Lemon Bay. To the south, the beaches of sleepy Boca Grande on Gasparilla Island. To the west, Englewood Beach, Blind Pass Beach, & Manasota Beach on Manasota Key. Search for shells, watch Pelicans diving into the sea, and enjoy glorious sunsets. 5 beach chairs and a cool box with freezer blocks are available for your use. Drive north to visit Venice, Casey Key, Siesta Key, Lido Key, Longboat Key & Sarasota, drive south for Punta Gorda, Fort Myers, Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, & Naples. Busch Gardens Theme Park is one hour forty five minutes away. The Disney Parks, Universal Studios, & Sea World two and a half hours away in Orlando. 4 public golf courses with a total of 99 holes, & 6 free to use tennis courts (4 floodlit) are all within a ten minute drive away.

Air conditioned Port Charlotte Mall with 5 department stores, more than 80 individual shops, many restaurants, and a 12 screen cinema, is a fifteen minute drive away. Two outdoor Factory Outlet Malls with designer stores giving up to 70% discount are each one hour away. Whatever your taste, fresh fish, shrimp, steak, ribs, burgers, creole, italian, mexican, vegetarian, indoors, outdoors, or waterfront, casual dining is the style. There is a comprehensive information book inside the house giving details & directions to all shops, restaurants, beaches, golf courses, & places of interest.
