Very peaceful, old typical house 'trullo' in the middle of the puglia country. This cylindrical home is located in the countryside, very close to Cisternino. This house is about 1 km away from Cisternino, where you will find everything that you may need during your stay. Close by you will also find Ostuni and Martina Franca (12km), as well as beautiful rocky and sandy beaches (9km away) and the Riserva di Torre Guaceto (a natural park). The property: This property was built in 1850, and was completely renovated by my husband, an architect, in 2006. It is very stylish, and the in-house design has maintained all the features that are typical from this area. The apartments have living room with a double sofa bed and a kitchenette, a bedroom with a Queen sized bed and a bathroom with tub or shower. There is also a great garden with greats views of the countryside.

Itria Valley, land of trulloes par excellence, is a karst depression, coinciding with the bottom of the Murge. Its name derives from the oriental cult of Madonna Odegitria (ie, who shows the way), protector of travelers. It is characterized by a flourishing vegetation where olive trees stand, These are cultivated in masserie lands, small typical local stone fortresses. Coasts are marked by long, sandy beaches, dunes and protected natural reserves. There are several traces of old Messapi civilizations, rock settlements, castles and not-to-be-missed trulloes made with drystone techniques.
