Supermarkets - Local supermarket in the village walking distance away. There are also 'hyper-markets' which are bigger just 2 minutes drive away (Lidl, Supersol & Carrefour Express)
Benalmadena Pueblo - You will be staying in a truly enchanting village that has lots of history, exceptional views of the coast to Malaga and even the Sierra Nevada ski resort in the winter/spring months - you can actually see the snow on the mountains even when it is warm from the roof terrace!!! Benalmadena has loads of great Tapas bars to try authentic food (Pepe´s, La Taperia, Mar Chica to name but 3). There are also more formal 'sit down' restaurants (Fidel´s, La Perla Negra) as well as some English run bars (Las Mimosas, Pueblos). The church is a beautiful landmark, so are the white-washed winding streets and the 'Mura' gardens in front of the church are also very pretty. Check out the 'Colomar' castle as well, which is pretty and eccentric!
Tivoli World - Theme Park for Children is only 4 minutes drive, very good value and a good way to spend a day out.
Puerto Marina - 'Voted Best Port in Europe' - 5 minutes drive, there are lots of livelier bars and restaurants here.
Selwo Sea Centre - Amazing for kids, seal shows, dolphins, lots of sea life to see, a good day out.
Water Park - There are two water parks within 15 minutes drive - one in Fuengirola and another in Torremolinos. Another good option for a day out!
Crocodile Park - There is a crocodile park with varied species and shows 15 mins drive away.
Mijas Village - Another good alternative day out exploring this famous white washed village 10 mins away - breathtaking views.
Paloma Park - A very large park which is free to enter and full of peacocks, chickens, rabbits, ducks and wildlife & plants as well as marvellous childrens parks - only 10 mins away.

Accessibility & Complex:
There are lifts from the ground floor for the apartment meaning it is easily accessible for children & older people. It is located in the heart of the village so there is no need for taxis to get to amenities and everything is a short stroll away.
There is a shared swimming pool which is perfectly sized for this small community and ample sun terraces for privacy and peace and quiet. Communal sun loungers are available for pool and sun terraces.
Ski:
From November to March there is also the opportunity to combine your sunbathing with a trip to the mountain-top village of Sierra Nevada, where the ski resort atmosphere gives a totally different dimension to your winter break and the snow covered mountain scenery is spectacular. Sip hot wine, have a brandy and coffee, dine overlooking the vast mountain backdrops, have snowball fights in the sunshine, or shop for winter outfits to keep out the cold for when you return home! Sierra Nevada is located in the Granada region approximately 1.5hours drive away.

Torrequebrada Golf Course is a 5 minute drive away which is an 18 hole golf course with a beautiful club house and driving range area. There is also a 9 hole golf course more suitable for beginners which is 4 mins drive away called Benalmadena Golf where coaching is available in English.
