La Macina di Bettona is a family run complex of quality self catering apartments with shared pool. The farm produces top quality organic virgin olive oil.Our guests are welcome to walk through the groves. Il Maurilio is a large ground floor apartment with 2 double bedrooms, one of which has a single bed added. This apartment has 2 large shower rooms,a very large lounge/diner with comfortable double settee bed. The kitchen is fully fitted and includes a dishwasher. The outside portico is suitable for al fresco dining, as is the patio and garden area accessible through the french windows of the 2 bedrooms. The shared pool,with sun terrace is situated just below the apartment and there is a children's play park set in the olive grove adjacent to the pool. A brick barbeque is available for use by our guests. A utility room with coin operated washing machine and iron is on site. Bed bathroom and kitchen linen is included

La Macina di Bettona is set half way up the hill below the etruscan village of Bettona, which offers superb views towards Assisi Spello and Perugia. Just 15 to 20 mins by car from Perugia airport, the position of the apartment offers our guests the possibility to visit many beautiful villages and towns within Umbria and southern Tuscany,all of which are steeped in tradition and history.For example Assisi(15km), Spello,Montefalco,Spoleto,Cortona,and Gubbio are all within easy reach by car. Passaggio di Bettona(2km) has all the necessary amenities to enhance your stay including:Banks, Supermarket, Petrol Station,Bread and pastry shop,petrol station, church and chemist. There are a large selection of eating establishments to suit all budgets within a 15km radius. And of course during the summer months most local villages host their annual festas, where eating traditional food is both fun and reasonable. Recommended: Umbria Jazz and Two Worlds Festival in Spoleto during July.
