4 properties available to rent at Hilarion Court, an exclusive village of 19 properties with two shared swimming pools. Hilarion Court has been built to an extremely high standard with cavity wall insulation, double glazing, gas central heating for the cooler months, air conditioning for the warmer ones. The rooms are spacious, the kitchens well fitted, the showers have good water pressure, the beds are comfortable and the sheets are high quality cotton. Plenty of wardrobe space. All of the properties have balconies off the living room and the main bedroom. Wonderful, inspirational views from almost every window. The landscaped gardens and the two overflow pools are maintained by professional contractors. The majority of the properties are occupied by ex-pats who live there all year round. They are very comfortable for full time living and longer winter lets. The currency is Turkish lira... a great advantage as the exchange rate is very attractive compared to the eurozone.

The 'WOW' factor of this 1st floor apartment is the sea view from the 3 large panoramic windows. Spacious comfortable lounge / dining area, with really comfortable leather sofas and chairs, and occasional tables. Flat screen home entertainment system for CD's and DVD's with iPod connection. Well fitted kitchen with granite worktops. Two balconies, one overlooking the sea, the other overlooking St Hilarion Castle. All of the bedrooms and living room have air conditioning units. There is gas central heating and radiators in all the main rooms for winter comfort.

Located walking distance from the stunning mountainside village of Karmi (Karaman) on a beautiful mountainside in the northern (Turkish) side of sunny Cyprus, Hilarion Court looks like a cluster of traditional village houses. With the Kyrenia mountain range and St Hilarion Castle behind, and the Mediterranean Sea below, the scenery is spectacular and the views from almost every window at Hilarion Court are exceptional. The beautifully kept village of Karmi is just a 5 minute walk away,with a restaurant, a pub, a bar and a village shop. The nearest town, Karaoglanoglu, is 10 minutes drive away, where there are several well stocked supermarkets, banks etc. There are a couple of beaches within 15 mins drive, many with beach clubs and water sports activities. The old town of Kyrenia (Girne) is 20 minutes drive away with an ancient horseshoe harbour and castle, many restaurants, bars, shops, casinos etc. There are many historic sites to visit dating back to the 12th century.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The prices quoted are for the rental of the property for 7 nights, inclusive of bed linen and bath towels.
    In making a booking, the guests agree that the maximum numbers of persons staying at the property will not exceed 8 persons.
    After you request a booking we will make sure the property is available for the dates you have chosen.

    Once we have confirmed that the dates are available, a 20% non returnable deposit on booking is required.

    The balance of the booking is payable 6 weeks in advance of the booking date.

    In addition there is a £150 refundable deposit taken against breakages, damage, losses or extra cleaning. This will be returned to you 14 days after the end of your holiday, if there are no such incidences.

    If the holiday is cancelled within 6 weeks of the booking date, a refund will only be made if we are able to rebook the property at the same cost.

    Payment can be made by personal cheque drawn on a UK bank.
  • The rates quoted cover all of the normal running costs for the week. We advise that the air con is used conservatively as electricity is very expensive in Cyprus. It is possible to run up a £300 bill in a week if the air con is used 24/7! Meter readings will be taken at the start and end of every letting and if the usage is found to be excessive, we will be forced to make an additional charge to cover this.We have found that by keeping the shutters closed on the sunny side of the properties but leaving the windows open, the properties keep quite cool as the walls are very well insulated. When you use the air con, always shut the windows, and the property cools down very effectively within minutes.

Bedroom 2 is a roomy twin room with built in wardrobes. Bedroom 3 is a very large room containing 2 sets of bunk beds. There is plenty of built in wardrobe space. The master bedroom and bedroom 3 both have doors onto one of the balconies.

Notes: Hilarion Court is a village development of 19 properties with shared landscaped gardens, car parking areas and 2 communal swimming pools. The grounds and the swimming pools are managed by professional contractors and so are maintained in excellent condition. Hilarion Court is built on a hillside and there are quite a few steps between the car parking areas, the properties and the swimming pools. It would be not be suitable for toddlers / young children as it would be difficult to fit stair gates to the many areas of risk. We provide several sets of teak garden furniture (large teak tables and benches), sun umbrellas and plenty of sun loungers and deck chairs for the use of our guests. There is an understorey underneath no 6 which is useful for parking your car in the shade.

We very much enjoyed our weeks holiday in Cyprus last July, staying in Apartment 6a Hilarion Court.
Our apartment was extremely spacious and everything was new and immaculate, as it had only recently been completed.
The apartment was extremely well equiped, the owners having taken great care to provide everything necessary for a successful family holiday.
Tremendous panoramic views, well tended gardens, and 2 large swimming pools with extensive patio areas, made for a very relaxing holiday.
