Photos and Description of this Alicante holiday apartment Sleeps 4 / 6 with two bathrooms, on an 18 hole golf course, near Alicante

Our apartment is on the top floor of three accessed by a lift. It Is furnished to a high modern standard. The living area has a television and DVD player, a PS2 and internet access along with a dining table. The kitchen and utility room are fully fitted with everything you should need including a dishwasher. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two singe beds, each with a large fitted wardrobe. Both bedrooms have black out shutters on the windows guaranteeing a great nights sleep. There are two bathrooms, one with a shower over the bath and the en-suite has a shower. Outside is a large south facing balcony accessed by patio doors off both the lounge and main bedroom. It has the sun all day and looks onto the 10th green and 11th tee and has amazing sunsets to admire whilst cooking on the barbecue and eating alfresco. There is a dining set on the balcony along with two sun-loungers. There are two outdoor communal swimming pools with grassed areas.

Just fifteen minutes from Alicante airport, our apartment is located on the Alenda Golf complex, an eighteen hole golf course with an ultra modern club house offering a great friendly bar and restaurant. There is also a supermarket (Dicost) a short two minute walk away. We are situated close to the rural Sierra de las Aguilas mountains and only a fifteen minute drive from some of the Costa Blanca's stunning white sandy beaches including Santa Pola and Alicante. Alicante city with it's abundance of shops, has an exquisite harbour with a brand new casino and La Explanada (promenade) with bars and restaurants galore. As Alenda Golf is located just off the A31 (main road from Alicante to Madrid) and the AP7 (main road from Murcia to Valencia) everywhere is within easy reach; including Benidorm, approximately 30 minutes, with everything including theme parks and a brilliant water park. Also within a short drive is Elche, the palm tree capital of Spain, full of character and history.

Notes: Smoking on balcony only. Broadband set up with wire ready to go so feel free to bring your laptop! Although there is a DVD player and PS2, I'm afraid there are no films / games so please bring your own.

Getting There!: There are some great deals available with the likes of Easy Jet and Ryan Air flying into Alicante airport. It is then an easy fifteen minute drive to the apartment. If you chose not to hire a car, there is a company on site that do mini bus shuttle runs at just 35 euros return (price correct Oct 2009); this is not only easier than a taxi as the driver is English but also cheaper!. Directions are available on request.

Golf: This apartment is literally on Alenda golf course with the club house and first tee just a two minute stroll away. It is an eighteen hole golf course which opened in 1997, designed by Roland Favrat. The first nine holes are medium length and favour the accurate player. During the back nine you have to be careful on the sixteenth and eighteenth as these two holes will decide your final score! There is also a driving range, trolley hire, putting green, pitching green, shop, lockers, showers and a golf school. Don't forget to wave when you are teeing off from the 11th hole! You are also only a short ten to fifteen minute drive from Bonalba, El Plantio and Alicante golf club, the latter being designed by Seve. If you wish to drive a little further there numerous courses across the Costa Balnca. If you have chosen not hire a car, Jay from Price Villa Management offers a great mini bus shuttle service.
